  1. Only one point Cleggy but worth a ......................max.
  2. But there are trophies for both Conference winners, which is the logical reward that should be in place for the EL table toppers imo.
  3. And I didn't mention that the 4-2 prediction was based on Steve Worrall winning the race
  4. I'm pretty sure the questions come from 'above' through the earpiece (FR may/may not confirm). I've thought for a while now then when a 'stupid' question is fed, especially with the likes of Adams, a flash of 'oh $hit' across the face of the interviewer as they know what sort of reply is coming. Great TV though
  5. 'The only chance is if a couple of Wolves riders got tangled up early doors and ruled themselves out of the rest of the meeting..............' How's that sound? Shovlar is a clever enough bloke to be able to use the correct words to make his points if he so desired.
  6. If we don't defend that lead then the Aces will thoroughly deserve it. BW, looks like the sequence is in the bin!!
  7. Why have folks automatically assumed Woffinden was referring to LIndgren. I reckon it was PK
  8. Surprising early odds from the bookies (at least to me!). I was going to chuck a few quid on Wolves hoping to get around 5/4. I left the semi final alone, not wanting to jinx us Wolves only available at slight odds on, BV available at evens in a place (which looks a tempter). That is possibly down to them taking no chances with the team who knocked out their previous favourites Early doors, we'll have to see where the money takes it.
  9. Nope Woffinden hinted he was going to fly his Polish 'crew' over for the 2nd leg. If that means personnel & equipment he used in the SWC final that'll do nicely.
  10. The only clue I guess is that he didn't want a team place in the UK at the beginning of the season but made himself available to Wolves if needed. If I had to say I reckon he'll finish in the UK this year, removing all the travel, and carry on riding in Sweden for a couple of years.
  11. With the track prepared as it was last night, yep. As it's normally prepared nowhere near as much and on occasions, none. Years ago there was a significant advantage consistently.,
  12. Where have you seen that EIA? Unless I've dropped a brick and missed it PK's still keeping us guessing
  13. Before your post I was thinking Wolves by 4 or less at Monmore, BV by 4 or less at the NSS If we thought last night was a bicycle clips job, this will be worse
  14. Having slept on it. # If PK had been excluded in 9 I don't suspect any fair minded people would have moaned To exclude Ellis was not right but that's the way it's been for donkey's. Unless the bloke in front actually falls causing the laydown then the one behind is usually excluded. # Ht 15 decision was correct. What Holder was thinking about with his mate, a renown gater, on the inside, defeats me. # When the dust has settled I reckon (Most) Poole fans will accept that Buc, Kurtz & Holder cost them more than the referee ever did. # Monmore week in week out doesn't have the home advantage of the past. What last night proved is that it could have if things were different. With the first leg of the final being next monday will there be the time/circumstances to produce the same surface as last night? If they do I'm pretty sure BV will deal with it a lot better than Poole. Anyway...................... My MOTM on the tractor.......................Doc Bridgett, on the track...........Kyle Howarth, How many Wolves hearts sank when we conceded the 1-5 in 10 and looked at 12 and got the towel ready?
