  1. 0 + 0. It would have been interesting watching him trying to do worse
  2. Just depends whether you are a realist or a hopeless optimist I guess.
  3. I went into this evening hoping for a bronze at best only a dreamer would have believed we were capable of more but yet again 3 out of the 4 proved for the umpteenth time that they're just not up to the job. We could have tracked Kerr/Lambert/Blackbird instead of King and the result would have been the same except one of those 3 would have been a hell of a lot wiser. That's my point.
  4. There we go. Lambert, Kerr or Blackbird, makes no difference. I don't get it, I really don't. Folks on here scream for the young Brits to be given a chance to progress yet when the opportunity arises it's missed. Astonished.
  5. Just replied to SCB who makes the same (valid) point as yourself.
  6. No one, it was forced on them of course. The point being that next time Ruml will have more of an idea of what's required. He may do no better but at least they're trying to plot a way forward, albeit by accident. We meanwhile plod along with the tried and failed.
  7. I don't agree but at least you give a reason. Personally I've had my fill of seeing Stead, Harris, King et al bumbling around and getting nowhere. If, as some say, we're at the same level as the USA at least they gave Ruml a run out with a view to him getting experience for the future.
  8. Foot in mouth post of this season You'll learn..............eventually.
  9. Congratulations PUK, great ride. Sod off Pedersen As for GB, 1 win in 20 heats, 1 word, embarrassment. I'd rather see Lewis Kerr, Lewis Blackbird etc scoring zilch and getting the experience than has beens/never will bes wasting the opportunity. I believe Rosco, I believe your just another GB clone manager who picks his mates.
  10. I'm not sure the analogy works but seeing as someone mentioned them...... Tesco were seen in the 80s as a bunch of cowboys & spivs. In the early 90s, in desperate straights, they embarked on a huge consultation with their staff & more importantly, their customers. The revival followed. In the mid 00s they decided they knew best after all, with well documented disastrous results. Now if you pop the BSPA, riders & fans in there instead........ Once you stop (or never start) listening to the folks who pay the money you're on the way to the poor house, or worse.
  11. It amazes me how he/she doesn't end up arguing with him/herself
  12. Ty limbering up for his date with his friends at Somerset next Friday. Wouldn't that be sweet.
  13. 2 passes in 23 heats, blimey Gav, we are blessed TBH I am more of a mind they went past due to Darcy's mistakes. Anyway looking at the thread it appears, for a change, I'm not alone on this one
  14. Don't often post on the PL side of the fence but your reserve scores paid 15 at home and you still lose . Someone, somewhere needs a kick up the ar$e.
  15. Can someone please tell me how Freddie is only 9 points away from leading the world championship? Congrats to Woffy, if they present you with a gaters track all you can do is gate. Finally for Christ's sake Darcy, sort yourself out. If you carry on like that you'll end up being another Leigh Adams, the best rider never to be world champion and that would be a bloody shame.
  16. As an outsider looking in I was expecting to see Edinburgh ad infinitum
  17. Understand the feelings re Roynon but cut Ty some slack, he's given his Swedish fixtures the flick to be available for Sheffield. No doubt time will tell but once up to speed surely he will be more than a 7.00?
