  9. I Don't think the racing is any more boring than it was 20 years ago, I haven't been to a speedway meeting since Newport Closed, been Attending since 1964, it quickly became my equivalent of a night out at the pub /club . met up weekly with ( our gang ) and all the banter that goes with it. when Tim Stone re-introduced speedway, most of us met up again at our new club, the racing ,it was there some good some bad some breathtaking, it never seemed to matter,I find watching speedway as a neutral boring
  10. End of an era! The Millennium Stadium is no more as iconic ... www.walesonline.co.uk › ... › Rugby › Rugby News › Millennium Stadium 26 Nov 2015 - The Millennium Stadium sign has been taken down ahead of its reincarnation as Principality Stadium.
  11. The millennium stadium and the Principality are one and the same its just a change of name .
  12. When the Malletts re opened Newport they spent a fortune on Colin Meredith to work on the track , what he produced was so smooth and grippy every race win time was close to the track record, but passing was nigh impossible to go from 2nd to 1st you needed to break the track record, great for most riders terrible for spectators
  13. I was designated Milk Monitor Due to the fact I had an allergy to milk and was not allowed to drink it, perfect cos I couldn't Steel any
