the tracks are never prepared how the GB riders want it ... this is something i find ludicrous.
when its in Poland or Denmark or Sweden, the natives will know exactly how it will be and they will have had input.
when it's in the UK it's still down to a Dane to sort it so you know what you're going to get.
remember last time when Havelock, Loram etc were beaten before they even went out on the track because the British track was set up completely the opposite to what they requested!!!
i think you'll find Ole Olsen will have far too much say in the preparation so expect a very slick track.
this sort of track will suit the Danes down to the ground and have to be favourites.
and to give people an idea of what it will be like, look at the pictures in the links ..
HERE for the Polish stadium ..
HERE for the Swedish one ..
and HERE for Reading
if people look at these pictures what story does it tell about the venue?
i thought there were some made up a short time ago when there was talk of the team re-appearing ...
sure i spotted them at Kathy Pope's last time i went there.
why shouldn't he bow out in the semis, it's all he talks about getting to.
i suppose once he's there the fight has gone.
one day someone will tell him he needs to make the final as thats where the points are
was he on holiday after the last GP too ....
maybe his holidays after each of the last 2 GP's is to go and mop the brows and be a shoulder to cry on for Rickardsson and Lindback.
can't wait till the 'ginger whinger' gets back.
all the British riders talk about is making the semi
why??? it gets you no extra points ....
the only point it does make is the level of ambition from British riders
he may not be on until later, he's still crying into his 'Lindback is the greatest' hat.
completely shown up tonight ... 4 ducks and didn't look like he deserved any better.
well he will just say that Hancock, Crump, N Pedersen, Zagar, Hampel, Adams, Gollob, and Nicholls were all lucky to be there in the semi.
personally, i'd just say that Rickardsson was crap.
