  1. seen him in a number of meetings in Poland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and in each he's had really bad rides and falls. good rider though, with a good style for a tall lad, but i'll stick to what i've seen
  2. Rew is a good prospect, but if he comes in on 5 i think he may only up that slightly, inconsistence/falls may hold him back in '23
  3. Used to be a busy night in the bar when the team was announced, although sometimes things were given away when riders turned up in their van and parked it in clear sight
  4. Seen Rew a few times now, can be very up and down but certainly has talent. a tall lad so tighter tracks might be the problem

  6. wonder if clubs are looking at another Dane, someone like Juhl Pedersen, he'd do a decent job but no idea on his clubs
  7. told me he's packed in speedway and just doing grasstrack
  8. don't get drawn in to the lots of sponsors thinking, although he is meticulous with his kit. been let down with his engines this year which knocks confidence
  9. IF Harris goes to Glasgow you'll see a much different rider than you did last time around. Very good sponsor keeping check on his machinery allowing Bomber to just get out and race, he'll do well around that track with better machinery
  10. so they paid out more than they had come in?
  11. absolutely, but if there's not enough bums on seats to cover all the outgoings .....
  12. of course, there will always be outside influences, but as long as it's not the CLUB having to fork out then they can work within a budget
  13. no because the supporters don't generally know the situation, but it certainly affects the clubs
  14. but the CLUB can restrict, and if sponsors want to pay that's up to them, but should be separate from the clubs
  15. but isn't that down to individual tracks and possibly their own business model? some clubs will be let down by their landlords too, what can the BSPL do about that? if some clubs want to pay well over the odds then it's their choice, and hopefully this year things can be reigned in by controlling guarantees to riders .. in my mind that's what has been one of the biggest issues over the years as riders know what they'll get whether they score 0 or 15.

  18. still think Danny will end up at Plymouth, wherever he ends up though he'll do well, good servant to the sport in the UK
  19. good rider is Rew, seen him a few times now. hope he actually gets a ride at Gdansk though, have a habit of using their own
