i'm another looking to get to more longtrack, i've only been to Scheessel the year Tatum won his first title and loved it.
a really small town with limited accomodation, but as mentioned, between Hamburg and Bremen, although only went into Bremen.
i'm not sure whether it's worth driving to some or fly/car hire
you miss the point of trying to keep the club in the media with relevant information when needed.
for example, your club Swindon, you have Doyle but i can't remember who else, and all the Swindon attention has turned towards the mess that's been your track and stadium
this thread is at the top of the page, you'll notice also that threads for most of the teams that are all announced are slipping down to the bottom because no-one is interested any more, they've had their say, but this one keeps going .....
if the BSPA pay set rates when paying part of debts, why can't ALL clubs use those same set rates to run?
that way clubs can more or less keep to budget allowing for home and away results.
if clubs are found to go over the rates then there's a penalty, whether it be league points or position.
also riders know that others aren't getting more than them (on a points basis) and might do away with some animosity in the pits.
and if a club closes owing riders, they won't be out of pocket because the BSPA will pay that set rate.
individual sponsors can make up any shortfall for riders, and if the riders still can't get what they want then maybe the UK isn't for them in a time when ALL clubs need to be stable financially.
seems Gustix can't help himself from trying to put speedway down at every opportunity still, despite being told to stop, and always agreeing he will.
maybe another thread will surface .. "10 Favourite Tracks that have closed"
