With "Hose-Pipe-atawny Phil" deciding if the track is fit to ride on. 🤔 -
What... Bradley Walsh has lost his job? 😂

Correct. The 'Tree' ought to consider - Attack the post... not the poster. I won't get my Speedy Star til sometime next week when Postie Pat does the honours, then i can see the full article. I hope Phil wasn't called a 'keyboard warrior' !!! From my working life i learnt - nothing travels faster than a rumour! PTA has a good track record. Keep posting.

Len Silver promoted Hackney on a Friday night. On the same Friday night 'Nel Revlis' promoted Sunderland.... so my money woukd be on Kram Nomel' promoting, with 'Brady Bewley' & 'Dan Kurtz' as the spearheads for Northampton Spades!!! 🤣

Could The PL / GP supremo be looking for a "Major Hose-Pipe" manufacturer to come on board as a main sponsor, with the vision of major TV coverage in the future? ☂️😃

Sad to hear this. Les rode for Wolves in 1981 and both him and Bruce Cribb were great with the younger riders. RIP Les.

How about 'Northants Ants'
-
And its three days after Groundhog Day!, so is it the BSPL equivalent where they live the AGM over and over again untill they get the 'PL - Premier League' right? Or do they just give up and rename it the 'NVL - No Variety League' 🤔
-
How about a combined venture involving Northampton & Ipswich which could run as Northwich. The only problem is sat-nav would send fans to Cheshire and we would probably be looking for a track at Oulton Park!!! 🤔

If he's someone who has 'robbed innocent, elderly, vulnerable people', then does it mean he qualifies to stand as a Member of Parliament? . 🤔

He woukd have ridden under an alias, Jake Pegg, to avoid a backlash from this forum. Perhaps Freddie Dreamer could be used for another option?

Are they joining the Premier League in 2026?

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?

Is it time to rename the Premiership as The NVL, - aka - 'The 'No Variety League' ? -
Sadly due to 'Royal Snail', it will be another five to seven days before I can read it. 📖

A great "guest team manager" for Wolves at Swindon. He got us an away win!!!

Is it time for Belle Vue and Ipswich to ride in a Polish League?

As a Wolves fan, I hope you don't mind if I 'borrow' this to also get sympathy and laughs! -
You could introduce betting on other aspects of Speedway. Typically the start time of the first heat as against the start time advertised in the programme. King's Lynn would get good odds as a 19:30 Proggy start drifts towards 8pm and past it. Also' at what heat does the 'sun break' occur. These odds could be paired up with the first appearance of Phil's hosepipe! Enjoy 🤑

Too true it was invariably a 90 mins drive on a Sunday from Wolves due to it being like Coventry, very hard to overtake! Even More time has to be added if a Pub crawl of 'B'Leek is on the agenda. Great scenery though. -
.... and so many great memories Dudley Wood provided. From my strong Wolves perspective, the joy of seeing Ivor Brown beaten, thru to Bruce, Eric and not missing out Bernie! are priceless. A very sad loss indeed. A disgrace that "The Wembley of the Midlands" became a housing estate.
