  1. Numerous reruns, extensive tractor breaks, lengthy interval and topped off with a start light failure. If I was a newbie today, I would never go to speedway again. I'd lost the will to live by 6pm!
  2. still big gaps appearing for home fixtures shads, you know how lakeside fans feel now!
  3. Last rockets home meeting 31st may, next rockets home meeting 18th July. Is there an EL type fixture pattern developing here!
  4. For the second Saturday running, bone dry south of the river. The sun shines on the righteous!
  5. Leicester never won the championship in the british league era.
  6. With a chance of some of the wet stuff heading hoddesdon way, I'm surprised Len ain't called this off already!
  7. A very good meeting last night, probably the best of the season at arena. The stars were half a lap away from going into the last race level, but ended up losing by eleven!
  8. With poor form and hardly any home meetings, I'm not surprised that there are no comments from hammers fans.
  9. There was a far better punch up in the pits during the kent v rye house match on Monday, which has hardly got a mention on the forum!
  10. i fear that the PL is in a similar state to the EL, but without the SKY money. Falling crowds coupled with spiralling riders wages, just add to problems facing the whole sport in this country.
  11. After tonight's events at belle vue, I thought it might be appropriate to refresh this topic!!!
  12. has It been wet enough over your way for an early call off shads. I'm only 20 miles south of you, where it's been bone dry all day. In fact it's been warm with sunny spells this afternoon.
  13. Tomorrow sees the eagles visit the launch pad for what should be a close match. I'm sitting on the fence and going for a draw!
  14. You only have to look at the progress of the rye house rookies compared to their kent counterparts. Sure they still fall off a lot, but they are starting to win races. Tonight danno verge was the only lower order king who looked likely to score any points.
  15. i totally agree with you, at times yesterday the riders visibility must have been poor. What's needed at eastie is a proper water tanker, as well as the crop sprayer that they already use.
  16. I remember many moons ago watching alan guest for Wimbledon at perry Barr. He was very hard on andy, who was riding for the brummies at the time. No brotherly love on that occasion!
  17. I'd have to say john, he really stood out in those tiger leathers!
  18. they should be monitored like they are in football.
