The EUM just clutter up the calendar with meaningless meetings so another set of freeloaders can get 5 star travel and hotels for weekend breaks.

Sadly it never has been Chopper, speedway in this country is a business as you know. It's easier and cheaper for most clubs just to poach, sign the few talented juniors than develop your own.

So if Berwick get another meeting next year and the weather plays the same trick do you think the "covering" of the track will encourage ppl to come?

My point was that the covers really didn't make a difference in the end as the entertainment value was nil, partial covering of the track really achieved nothing. the poster said covers would save a lot of matches, if all they do is mitigate the damage caused by the rain and turn a rain off into a non event people will know to stay away therefore the covers achieve nothing.

How many tracks have/where there in Estonia? None in Tallinn?
