  1. Totally agree with the above comments - but I also thought the Harris move was a little harsh just before. Bomber's GP form has dipped dramatically since Cardiff and he he dropped silly points for example tonight in his first ride, I cannot believe he will not get a wildcard for next season along with AJ. Finally congratulations to Scott coming through to qualify on merit after a torrid first half of the season which included a bad injury early on in the series
  2. Well done Martin should have received the Wild card invitation.
  3. Well done Scott fine performance to make the rostrum, more of the same please in Germany to secure the required top 8 position.
  4. Worst GP of the season very little overtaking and very little racing.
  5. Poor performance tonight personally would really like him to dump Havvy but still in the top 8 in the world.
  6. Personally I thought the track was poor for most of the meeting far too slick, what I cannot understand is why the riders constantly complain about the track's being slicker on raceday than practice. Perhaps they should unite and speak to the authorities or would this just be a waste of time as Ole is producing tracks to suit Nicki Pedersen???
  7. Excellent performance but obviously helped by Mr Olsen's track set up a poor GP in my eyes, very little overtaking.
  8. I agree he does not seem to have the lucky breaks othrs have, AJ falling probably cost him choice of gates in the final but well rode Scott he has proved that he is a top 8 rider .
  9. Scotty definitely rode at practice although he did fall once.
  10. Reports from Prague have told me that Jason looked very quick in practice yesterday
  11. The boys were all very disappointing last night bar Nicholls to some extent who seemed to ride his heart out. I am sure that Stead and Kennett will gain from this experience but seemed to continually ride the wrong lines surely the team manager could have informed them a little better. I agree he has very little raw material to work with and I am not sure another manager would have produced a great deal more. The real disappointment for me was that the set ups looked completely wrong as we were so far off the pace, Scotty has constantly said this season that he has not been completely happy with his machinery since making the change from Jawa to GM but Chris has looked particularly fast all season with his motors expertly tuned by Brian Anderson and was the biggest disappointment of the night for me. Of the others well done to Denmark who for me were a little unlucky to lose with Hans losing one heat victory when the race was stopped, over the two legs they were the far better side. Poland ride in three meetings coming third, second and now are the World Champions where did that improvement come from??? they were certainly a different side from the one we saw last Saturday and Thursday. I expected a little more from the Aussies especially Leigh Adams on his home track. A good meeting but it will be interesting to see where British speedway goes from here, and next year I believe Denmark will win where ever the meeting his held.
  12. Just seen the spreadsheet on the post below- the dream still lives on Scotty V Hans are due to meet in heat 25, what a payback that would be
  13. Very good point I for one would also like to know how the draw was done perhaps it will be explained tonight, does anyone have the heat details
  14. Quelle surprise - the favoured blue helmet goes to Poland.
  15. Well done Scott marvellous performance - seems like he is happier with his performances and is now riding with greater confidence. I really do wonder if his performance and the great support he received at Cardiff was a help to him. through his troubled times, I know he was very down not making the final but perhaps he looked back on the meeting and with a little luck realised he could easily have been on the podium as well as Bomber.
  16. As earlier said in another post well done Edward. More of the same please on Saturday.
  17. Probably one of the best posts of the entire season take a bow and the rest of the entire squad, go and do us proud Saturday night, perfect scenario Scotty beating Hans in the last race to clinch the title.
  18. Well done to the GB boys - excellent performance from the inspirational skipper topped by his fantastic pass inside Greg. Particularly pleased to see young Kennett ride so well and did he look like he really wanted it after that first victory. I for one was a little worried before hand as for some reason he has really struggled in the past at Brandon on a track not that dissimilar to Poole. If the boys can ride like this on Saturday perhaps they can just pull of a surprise???
  19. Get rid of Havelock, and get Brian Andersson to tune his bikes we might then see how good Scott really is
  20. Bjarne is almost unbeatable at the moment for Poole but is really struggling in the GP's is he he going to become another rider who seems unable to make the final step up to world class ala Adams??
  21. Last year following his performances in the World Team Cup Bomber made a massive step up - increasing his average in the 2nd half of the season, I believe following last night we will see another surge and this will not be a one -off performance. Bomber may continue to struggle in places like Denmark etc where there will be a very slick track but given a proper racetrack with some dirt on he will be a match for the best. Brian has certainly tuned his bikes to perfection as he looked as fast as anyone last night ( Scott please note ).
  22. Well done Chris absolutely magnificent performance tonight - bikes looked very fast - Scott also well done on bikes that did not look as quick, lets move on and have Brian preparing our bikes get rid off Havvy or else you may lose your number 1 spot.
