  1. I presume we are after R/R for Mear on 7.4 rather than the man he replaced Garrity on 4.79ish. Sort of makes a big difference. How about Roynon would he fit?
  2. Rye have a space with Rob Mear taking break from sport.
  3. So we will only get a wild card if Kennett does not qualify by right. Presumably to ensure at least one Brit at the meeting.
  4. Has Lee Geary ridden for Stoke before? Heard his name before somewhere.
  5. I'm sure Boxall broke his ankle during our P&P day a few years ago, but can't remember if we used R/R for him.
  6. Would it make a difference that Tully has an-average Bech is still assessed.
  7. Rye press release confirms R/R for Bech. Anyone can take one of his rides. As said before it will be close, possible defeat if our reserves don't do the business. Shocking last time out against the Devils.
  8. Garrity average is 4.79. Rye total average at moment is 42.11 which means anyone other than Lykke and Lambert could be replaced by Garrity with Bunyan the man in most danger. Might depend on what happens this month with averages. When is Garrity likely to be back and what about Bowen returning?
  9. Had to smile at the last Devils match. Bunyan threw the magic £2 coin into a group of adults as no kids seem interested or knew what was going to happen. Used to get 30 odd kids pushing and shoving each other to get it.
  10. Tyson Nelson will be included as well as Garrity if fit.i would presume.
  11. 1st visit to Central Park, very impressed by the whole set up.As good as Wolves, Birmingham and Belle Vue if not better. A couple of questions regarding the stadium. 1. Why are the back straight and 3/4th bends closed off or are their plans to use them in the future. 2. Also when leaving the stadium it seemed that there was only 1 way out available, under the main grandstand. Is this right? Team wise, impressed by Boxall (he looked gutted at the end of Ht 1). Also impressed by Compton and Kirby. Kingston and and to a lesser extent Coles showed promise, but Woods a bit out of his depth especially at No2. Morley couldn't get out of the gate and then struggled. Being a RH fan i expected more from him as i've seen him ride well at RH.
  12. In June we have 4H and4A league matches. Would that be enough for someone to gain an average?
  13. Could Rye bring in a 7pt young foreigner similar to what we did last year with Lykke to gain a average in preparation for next year and then bring back Jason G when fit? At the moment with the way the team is performing we could carry a youngster like we did last year with Kasper.
  14. At the start of the season Len Silver said that he never looks at the riders averages and the team total average, when asked why the Rye House team was built with around 2 pts to spare. I believe he also said Kent with the team they had planned were going to be challenging for honors this year!!!
  15. If GB has three places and Harris is 1of the riders. Who are the others?
  16. Yes thanks for that, i did attend that meeting and thought it was one of the northern clubs but forgot it was Wato.
  17. I'm pretty sure i went to the pairs meeting when one of the riders made his debut for the club that night. Lemon or Screen maybe. If so why not Kennet.
  18. As Lambert can only be replaced by an NL rider I would have thought that Morley was the obvious choice.
