Updates say Cradley fans booing during the heat 14 5-0 to Coventry. Any reason reason for this apart from the obvious? -

Much better today. The riders looked more committed. Excellent from Luke, flying in heat 3. Edwards commitment on an obviously wet & greasy track in heat 15 demands huge respect. I'd be interested to read views on the Garrity/Ellis incident. At first I thought it was 2 riders giving it 100%, but those around me said Jason deliberately brought Ellis down. Happy to say Adam managed to get off the bike before it crashed into the fence, although it did affect him in his next race. Still a decent win and hopefully some confidence to take down to Somerset on Friday, but I'm not holding out any hope -

According to Met Office, light rain shower between noon & 1, heavy rain between 1 & 2, then a heavy rain shower between 2 & 3 -

Just around the corner from the track it's dull and we've had a few spots of rain, but it's bright enough to be hopeful of seeing some action -

Was it only a few weeks ago we were over the moon after a spectacular last heat win at Peterborough? -

Business as usual for Simota, Jensen & Benko. Shows how poor Rye House were making them look half decent -

Definitely not the Jason Garrity we've been used to. Some people in the pits saying his bike wasn't up to much. Was down on power due to the engine not fitting in the frame properly. That's what I was told. I know nothing about bikes, but there was an announcement for some plumbers tape literally 5 minutes before the start of the meeting. -

Depends how much they're paying him as a guarantee, but you'd think he'd need more than EL racing to earn enough -

Wouldn't that be poetic justice after Rye House "stole" Tyson Nelson from under Sheffields nose? -

I don't know how much he earns riding for Coventry, but as he's only up against mainly NL class and the odd PL reserve that sounds about right. If imagine he'd be snapped up by another PL club if Silver decided he'd had enough and released him. Somewhere like Sheffield who could easily release someone like Taylor Poole and fit him in. -

Garrity holding the club to ransom to force a move? I thought it was only highly paid footballers that did that. Can he afford to only race in the EL? -

Good to see you too, and Phil. Curry was decent, beer also. Looks like my season is mirroring that of our sliders team Adz. Early promise, followed by weeks of misery!! -

I can only recall Len Silver releasing a rider mid season and that was Kurt Shields. The others, Frampton & Lambert included made the decision to pull the plug. Silver has a history of loyalty towards his riders, so it'll be Lamberts decision to step down I should think. Garrity is quite frankly a disgrace. Riding sub standard equipment, saving his best bikes for battles against the likes of Greenwood & Sarjeant in the EL circus. Tonight he was taking the pi$$. Only Luke, Edward & Steve can take any satisfaction from their performances. Jason Bunyan is racing with damaged ribs, so can be excuses to some extent. Can't believe that some posters were lauding this team as play off contenders. They look more like contenders for the wooden spoon. Don't see how replacing Lambert will improve things much. Who else is there to bring in? Another Kasper Lykke type? Gawd elp us!! Aspgren showed what we're missing. Huge mistake letting him leave, but once the decision was made to sign Kennett, Bowen & Boxall there was little option. -

Speedway riders are a tough bunch, but sadly many are pretty short of common sense. Best thing would be to take a complete break until he's fit enough to race. He's letting his team(s) down racing in that state. -

Who knows? Rumours that he refused to sign his contract at P & P, but relented when he was told that he rides for Rye, or doesn't ride at all. Maybe the terms had changed, maybe he thinks he deserves more. Who knows? Like I said, just rumours. Up to JG himself to come out and say he's happy at Rye (or not). Up until then we can only speculate. -

As mentioned by WHB amongst others, Simon Lamberts retention has been a mistake. Nothing against the man, I'm sure he's a lovely bloke. It's been mentioned that he's great around the pits, offering advice and helping out the other riders. That's great for team spirit, but useless when he's not scoring points. I hope he can turn it around and be our match winner tomorrow, but I fear another beating along with a few more this year, home and away. -

Don't hold your breath... He beat Starke & Searjeant in heat 9. Apart from that finished ahead of riders that either fell or retired. Based on what I've been told, Garrity doesn't even want to be at the club -
