Probably our most consistent rider tonight added to his tremendous efforts last week I was hoping that this would be my first season of being an ever present at home meetings. I'm not so sure now. Words can't describe my feelings after watching that. Silver needs to come out and apologise to the supporters, but I won't be holding my breath.

There are other tracks in the South apart from Rye House One has a choice whether to attend or not. Nobody is forcing you

Ooops! When are the FIM gonna stop handing these big meetings to clubs in the rain sodden North? Keep these meetings down South where the climate much more favourable.

Didn't see Len Silver at Somerset last night, so he may have been at Rye House flooding the track in case the promised heavy rain doesn't materialise.

You gave up on Rye House a long while ago Going back to crappy stadiums. Don't see many Monarchs fans complaining about Armadump. I'd take their run down stadium with that team any day.

How many people go to speedway because of the facilities? All I ask is for somewhere to park the car and have a pi$$. Oh, and be close enough to the track to be able to see the action clearly and not have a huge stock car track between the terrace and the action.

Being tenants means you're at the mercy of the landlords. Len Silver paid for the air fence out of his own pocket, without having to go cap in hand to the supporters like most other teams. Perhaps that's why something had to give, notably air fares for Swedish riders.

One thing I can't stand is skin on battered fish. Was that the same Hawkins who rode like a dog when he was with us? Also, Manzares looked a totally different rider from the one who guested for us v Plymouth in the LC. One blown engine away from a win, that's the way it goes sometimes. It may be a dive, but it's ours.

If the promotor doesn't listen to his riders and prepares a track the way HE wants it, then we're gonna lose more meetings like that.
