Jake Allen isn't on a 28 day contract. It is a short-term contract and he is included in their initial declaration. This is the extract from Belle Vue's website: 'AHEAD of the club’s first team event against Sheffield on Monday, March 28, Belle Vue have signed Australian racer Jake Allen on a short-term contract. The 2017 Queensland State Champion also lines up for the Scunthorpe Scorpions this season, after spending a year with Teesside club Redcar last season. But he found himself without a Premiership team place in 2022 after missing out on a spot with former club Ipswich, with whom he’d spent the last two campaigns. On Allen’s signing, Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “Finally, after what seems like an impossible international rider search, we have given Jake Allen a chance to showcase his abilities.'

...and just to add to this, Batchelor had another couple of poor meetings for Oxford over the weekend and Rowe failed to score in Leicester's home fixture on Saturday and was replaced for his fourth ride. -
18 point maximum for Plymouth last night.

Possibly not as it is a midday fixture. It could be Wolves v King's Lynn.

Points limit is 39 for 6 riders plus rising star.

Dackarna.

My guess is Kenneth Bjerre (not riding in Sweden this year) and Jake Allen.
-
Not unless he drops Sweden.
-
Everything I've seen says he is including Indianernas's own website.
-
I would be surprised to see him riding anywhere in the UK. He has signed for Ostrow in the Polish Ekstraliga and Sweden (Indianerna)

You are right. At the time I read somewhere, it may have been in the Star, that the averages were to remain unchanged as the process would have been too complicated to unravel. They must have had a change of heart subsequently as a final set of averages was produced 22nd November 2018.

When Rye House folded halfway through the 2018 season, rider averages were not adjusted.

Sheffield vs Belle Vue 30/09/21 POSF 1st leg
tocha replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If this is called off tomorrow, the most likely situation is that Belle Vue will now host the first leg next Monday. -
I would have thought attendance might have dropped off when Kent Kings started in 2017. However, I wonder what impact Kent moving into the championship had upon Eastbourne. It is possible that Kent supporters from the north of the county travelled to Arlington to watch CL racing. For example, many who live south of the Thames used to support the Hammers in 2018 before the club moved to Rye House. I expect many of the same supporters then came to Arlington in 2019 before switching their allegiance to Kent in 2021.

Plymouth v Newcastle Tuesday 31st August

Great to see Ben hasn't forgotten his way around Plymouth. Kyle Newman is worth a shout as well. -
Probably the only reason but such an instance is not covered in the SGP statement unless there has been a subsequent amendment. Of the two third-placed semi-final riders, the one who finished highest after the heats will be ranked fifth and receive 12 championship points, while the other will be ranked sixth and earn 11 championship points – with the existing countback system used to resolve any ties if riders finished level. Likewise, the fourth-placed semi-final rider who scores highest in the heats will be ranked seventh, receiving 10 championship points, and the other fourth finisher will finish eighth and earn nine.

This doesn't explain why Madsen finished ahead of Woffinden. Points awarded for 3rd and 4th in the semis are based upon those scored in the qualifying heats. Both finished last in their respective semi but Woffinden scored 13 and so should have been awarded 10 but Madsen, scoring 10 in the qualifiers, 9. https://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/7919/sgp-scoring-and-qualification-changes
