I take it that this qualifying session is fastest lap gets first pick of rider number? If so it's completely pointless as the track is gone after the first 3 sets of quali already. Surely they should aggregate the times or average them after the completion of all of the quali sessions. Or a knock out format like F1, this current format just doesn't work for me

From what I saw of Gilmour last season Stewart Dickson would do a better job if he donned a race suit himself!

I keep hearing what a great race track Redcar is, I've only been once back in 2019 to see Leicester and the track was wet, I've seen a steamed match on the BSN earlier this year and that was pretty dull, so I'm hoping it can live up to its hype tonight in what should be perfect conditions against some decent opposition as otherwise it seems like a pretty decent setup at Redcar

I thought they showed the rider speeds and reaction times etc on the Polish coverage also

you know the distance between where ever the transponder is fitted on the bike and you know the speed the bike is doing (thanks to the transponder) so it's all easily calcuable

The way that buggy goes up and down after a match barging its way through the packed leaving crowd sometimes makes me wonder whether the driver is looking to create some punters to ferry up and down the following week. It's pretty dangerous imo

Most clubs can't regularly field 7 riders so there's no chance of having 2 Paramedics and 2 Ambulances in place... unless they can operate P/R, or a guest replacement from the NHS

I also think the better quality of rider that is now participating in the CL has helped, the lesser ability riders still tend to struggle to get around BP comfortably

It turns out that this particular turd can be polished... the racing so far this season has in general been excellent! I don't think Newcastle are going to server up any entertainment at any away track this season tbh... ask your friend about Heat 15, that was a great race! Hopefully when the cubs get some meetings under their belts the twins will be a little more consistent and gain some confidence as they get more track time... I don't know if he's eligible but it looks as though Anders Rowe may also benefit from some cub time
