There is nothing to stop the opposing team using their second highest averaged rider at number 2 to counteract this, so nothing wrong with it imo

Just caught up with this and what a great advert for grass roots British Speedway! 13 committed lads, great racing, a close scoreline for the aggregate bonus point, incident and controversy. The Plymouth track has taken some stick in the past but it was spot on tonight. Absolutely put the tripe served up in Latvia in the GP to shame in comparison. The commentator mentioned it, the word of the night was commitment and without wishing to labour the point, tonight's match showed that Plymouth and British Speedway does not need the likes of Nicolai Klindt. It's just a shame that the rules and the spineless SCB are letting this situation continue with Klindt treating Plymouth like a piece of dirt and a last resort pay day.

I'm not saying they're free points but surely you take them when you can rather than risk being beaten by a stronger opponent. How often do you see a tac sub being made in a normal race and they trail in at the back or in 3rd, too often I'd say.
