  1. If Chapman thinks that what was served up last night and every time I've been to KL over the last 10 years or so is fine he really shouldn't be running the sport. KL used to be one of the very best places to watch exciting speedway and I'd regularly travel over from Leicester to watch it, that was back in the days of Henka & Loram, Richard Knight... Barum Trophy, Pride of the East (which has a whole different meaning these days ) I really don't know what's happened to the place, as the viewing facilities have got better the standard of racing is p poor... And to bring it back to Peterborough, I don't think it's been much better at the Showground this season, whenever I've been able to attend, usually on a Sunday afternoon, the track has been slick and dusty with little passing or close racing.
  2. Everybody knows who won it... Question is are they the poorest team ever to do so?
  3. There's not been a worse team since I've been watching Speedway, don't know about pre 77
  4. Doesn't matter which way you look at it, topping the league (of 7 teams!!) or winning the final... Worse team evs
  5. They did fill the place for the SEC this place was rocking too
  6. I've read your post and I think I do fail to get the point unless the point is it's not convenient for people who have the convenience of all of the other top class speedway on their doorsteps
  7. That could easily change between now and this evening... All in the best interests of the sport
  8. Why no GP in Russia? 2 GP riders and a massive crowd for the SEC round a few years ago would seem a no brainer
  9. Couldn't Fraud have got the 2nd leg ridden at Swindon or Eastbourne for you?
  10. Under the rules at the time before the meeting... Perhaps they should have been changed
  11. Wow! What a lot of sense you talk, just the type of person that should be involved in the promotion of the sport
  12. Is Mick better than nothing? It's clear he's finished with Covcester
  13. Stranger things have happened... I think he'll be looking to off load the Bees now he's stripped all the assets, he keeps going back to Peterborough, his former Coventry co-promoter is already there, panthers are for sale
  14. And in the Poles own back yard, lead by Britain's greatest ever speedway rider!
  15. You got it... Clue was in the title, Speedway of Nations
