  1. Yes you must be correct looking back over the season and what came to pass.
  2. Yes I would agree that has a part to play in it as well.
  3. No not really - the pattern this season with the triumvirate of Buster’s Clubs has been to provide guests for the one riding if the other two are not. Since Ipswich were also riding on the evening in question that only left Peterborough riders of which Proctor is one - Wright I doubt would have wanted the booking as he has been ”desperately trying to keep himself fit for Cardiff” (as explained by him on Tues evening) Andersen who has crashed recently himself may not have wanted it or even been in the UK? Tungate - was he in the UK? No idea! Nicholls has been in such poor form in the PL - not a good choice so who is left? Proctor who at least has plenty of experience of the Saddlebow Road track earlier this season. That’s my theory for what it’s worth anyway!
  4. If this season (and last winter close season) has taught us anything - it’s don’t take anything said by anyone (including Club Promoters) for granted. During 2019 on Press and Practice Day morning I would have thought we felt confident with our team line-up for the season despite the previous Harris mullarkey and look how that turned out!!!! So in 2020 if we survive I shall not get excited until I hear Edwin confirm our line up for the first home meeting. No point in wasting precious time and getting hopes up just to have them dashed again.
  5. Thank you - maybe it’s just you and I that understand the meaning of percentages
  6. Wrighty when interviewed after the meeting explained it was to try to stay injury free for his big moment at Cardiff on Saturday - he explained how stressful and difficult that has been since he won the BC and qualified for it.
  7. So where was Chapman last night? Was he even there? I don’t know but I never saw him - if he was why was he not out on the Centre Green at the end with the riders and Carl to take the Mike and offer a few words to the crowd? GED and previous Promoters would have taken the opportunity to do so and if he had done he may start to build bridges with our fans many of whom given a choice would prefer he was as far away as possible from our Club. I know some will not like to read that (but hey that’s life we don’t all agree) but 99%of those I spoke to last night either at the Eoes or Online share that view. A huge missed opportunity Buster but why am I not surprised.
  8. Yes I agree think the Robins have too much strength for the Panthers to have any chance of a win. Racing was good last Thursday but track is still far from its best due to the surface material sadly.
  9. This fixture is now being shown on BT apparently. Panthers 1. Wright 2. Proctor 3. Andersen 4. Nicholls 5. Tungate 6. Ostergaard 7. Ryan Douglas (Guest) Robins 1. Doyle 2. Ellis 3. Jensen 4. Musielak 5. Batchelor 6. Perks 7. Vissing
  10. I couldn’t understand why Etheridge didn’t get at least one extra ride last night - after his EF on the start line in his first he was unbeaten by a Panthers rider in the rest of his programmed rides. Expected him to get at least one extra especially with Bjerre having motor problems all evening but no.
  11. Howarth injured a shoulder riding for Sheffield - will it be RR ?
  12. Me to SP - every cloud has a silver lining - feel another Mediterranean trip beckoning
  13. And this has everything to do with Panthers 2019 because...............
  14. You should stick to posting on the Stars threads as you really havnt got a clue about Panthers as a Club or its Fans.
  15. Yep well I’m south west of KL and we have had very heavy showers but sun shining now so fingers crossed!
  16. I’m sure Pratt and Johnson will be happy to see their riders used as guests to say thank you for all the Stars ones used by Panthers
  17. The problems go deeper than the team line ups over the last few months and lack of communication - the track itself which hasn’t been mentioned lately is not providing the entertainment it used to. It seems to me there is only one person responsible for this as far as fans are led to believe so this needs solving ASAP if supporters are expected to have the desire to continue to attend.
  18. So maybe a newcomer could have been forgiven for buying the club moving it up a league and giving us false hopes but someone who is a long time Club Owner already not to mention BSPA Chairman should have done his homework and know better - proof he is totally delusional! PS. Whatever happened to his son? Didn’t he fall out with him as well?
  19. Im pretty sure Witches will be ok for this season as Buster is preoccupied with destroying Peterborough but who knows what next year may bring!
  20. Or to put it another way “on the cheap” yet again!
  21. Yes agree with you - BUT feel you should have added “especially when the owner ripped apart his anticipated side before the season even started”. He was on a hiding to nothing from the off and we could all see it.
  22. You are totally correct - hope Buster has DEEP POCKETS because it’s gonna be expensive!
  23. Probably - not my concern thats down to my other half - I just watch it!
