If Russia don't bring there A team I can see GB coming second in event 1 and then I think they stand a chance of beating Sweden in the run off. With the riders we have 4 place is about the best we can hope for, its almost inevitable some people will blame Rosco for not winning just like they blame the mangers that came before him. I think most people know the reason GB aren't competitive lies at the grassroots of the sport not with the team manger.

Jorgensen's bike seem a bit slow, he rides the right lines but doesn't seem to get the same speed as Auty and Douglas. As for Matt Williamson I do think he shows promise but how long can Scunny afford to give him?

These afternoon meetings are doing little for Scunthorpe's home track advantage. The 2nd half of meetings when the track dries out and becomes slick and dusty we seem to lose our home advantage, I think Birks said something similar in the star. Does anyone else think Matt Williamson is not quite ready for premier league?

What are the rules regarding guest riders. Is it, if there are 2 riders out one can be replaced by a guest?

I think Ulrich Ostergaard would be good choice, seems to have a good record round Newcastle.

You are bang on. Auty does need to stop doing reckless moves but he could have had a broken back when Hall kicked him on the floor.

I thought the track was very difficult to pass on, it looked like it needed more dirt and more moisture in it, probably prepared it expecting rain.

I don't know why Sheffield didn't use Compton a few more times they could have got another point. Are they not taking the LC too seriously?
