Yeah I think I know what the rules are, just pointing out how absurd the whole thing is, and trying to get my head around a competition which as you say requires 24 "qualifying " matches for a six match shoot out. I guessing that most speedway followers would agree with me. I think the only people who may be in favour of the rip offs are those who manage to creep into the top six and Nick the title off the team that has finished top. Tbh I couldn't give a you know what about the rip offs , but how "fair " would it be if say the Cats did win it .........another nail in the coffin.

Ha ha ha ha this is so funny, top of the qualifying meetings. Current table shows Cats 25 points behind the Rebels in sixth. They could quite easily win the six matches req in the "rip offs"with their umpteenth line up at the last minute and are expected to be accepted as champs for the whole of the 2016 season. No wonder speedway is dieing on its feet. Forget the Rebs are my side I would be of this opinion who ever finished top. Well done Gary and the lads and everyone connected with this great little club👏👏

This was always going to be a tough call even with Rohan. TBH it's the first time Jake and BWD haven't managed to come up with the goods on first sight at a track all season. I have never been to Brough Pk but from what I have read it is not the easiest track to ride first time anyway, so as I said tough gig for those two. On the plus side it seems Jake was on the pace and deserved more than his two points and BWD got amongst some points. Over the two matches if aggregate counted Newcastle are in front. Not sure if the Diamonds would get within four points at our place again no disrespect intended just a feeling. One thing for sure if we meet in the play offs it will be two cracking matches.

Bit harsh, Holder top scored for the Devils and his brother made it to the GP final. Holder has been a beacon of light for them in a difficult season. Don't know for sure but I would have imagined he helped to get Brady for that short time and he was instrumental in assisting the 4's victory. -
Having hit 55+ in three of the four fixtures so far against the Devils I'm expecting another Rebels win again tonight. Priest covering for Zach.

Sorry mate totally disagree, "peak at the business end of the season" nah not for me . The season is a marathon not a short sprint between a couple of teams. Another Speedway joke rule along with double points 🙄. -

Spot on with the play offs, what a load of crap that is. Can you imagine that rule in football. With the double now achieved over Glasgow , the Rebels are so far in front of anyone else this year it just shows what a joke the play offs are and a travesty if at the end of s long long season if we were not crowned champs. The Rebels have not scored less than 40 points in any match and have only resorted to the equily ridiculous tac ride once. A starting seven that nobody gave a chance to, we are all talking about Bewley, what about Jake and BWD all season so far, not just over the last month or so. All the Somerset haters must be squirming in their seats at how well we have done so far. Two semi's coming up , Pairs already in the cabinet, life's good long may it continue. -

Think that was the final ER and he was guesting for Ollie Allen , it was r/r for Brady. Him and Summers ( in the second leg ) were both pants, we lost by one. Further back 2012 Hall scores 7 from 5 in that play off final we lose by one again. Nice to get it right, well done and thanks Dan. -

It's about injuries and dates I think. Bad luck on the Rebels that we have two maybe three injuries plus an international event when we have three meetings on top of one another. I'm sure Gary and the guys will make the best of what we have though. The regular guys will give their all I'm sure. We have had a good run of no injuries, but like London buses they all come at once🙄 -

Tall order even without Josh, if the Rebs are sharp out of the starts tonight , there will only be one winner. According to the updates the Tigers were a bit iffy at the tapes last night, a stronger ref may have penalised them. Brady on good form at the moment so I'm expecting double figures from him . Should be a cracker though. -
A quick chance for the Rebels to get revenge for their first league defeat of the season. No Wrighty tonight following his spill, so it's R/R for him with everyone except Josh taking a ride. Josh still bothered by his leg after his fall so ex Rebel Brady Kurtz on standby if he doesn't make it. Safe journey down for travelling Tigers and no more injuries on both sides please.

Interesting reading on here about supposed lack of development at Rye. I been twice this year and I think it's coming along ok tbh. These things take time and money to achieve and the new promotion have only been in charge a couple of months. I can only compare the growth of my club , Somerset with Rye. Every season in March when we opened something different had happened, changes to the pits, changing rooms and so on, until we have what we have now. The new covered pits at Rye look great, the work done in the middle is coming on too. I think the racing has improved as well, not so much gate and go that used to make a visit to Rye a bore fest. I will agree the state of the track is at the moment is a bit of a downer, but good riders can ride any track imo. New bosses, new season , get behind them and see how it's shaping up in a couple of seasons. We are doing great at the moment, it hasn't been an overnight thing and long may it continue, I can remember a time when we were always in the bottom half of the league. Rye is a local club to me and I want them to succeed .
