  1. A very different sort of line up for the Rebels next year, reminds me a bit of the Rebels 2008, the first season without Zorro. A young Doyley was No 1 but on a sub 8 average I think, Emil on 7 point something and then Katty, Werner, Frampton, Walker and eventually Kroger. I think only Doyley and Kramer didn't fill the reserves positions that year. We took the Prem cup that year. Every rider improved his average that season. I think if all goes well we may see a repeat. Josh is a good skipper and he was a top 10 rider last season only slightly behind Brady, who started well but then faded a bit. Tungate needs to get dialled in quicker than than Ritchie did because the onus is going to be on him right from the start. Wrighty and Starky will be the engine room especially at home, and having two of the top NL riders at reserve is a bonus, both lads had a look at the OTA earlier in the season. If Jake Allen can have a first season like Kurtz and Holder, that will also be a plus. Lots of talk on here about BWD not achieving a five average, but if Jake can achieve a seven ,jobs a goodun. I think Gary may tinker with the line up for home / away fixtures. I'd go with Wrighty at five for the early home games with Tungate at three, and the reverse for away games. Starkey at four and Allen in at two with Josh. Really looking forward to next season and hopefully get a few more matches in this time as last season was a disaster lol. A very Merry Christmas to all supporters and riders.
  2. The good and knowledgable people of Eastbourne and Brum rate them very highly.
  3. Talking about Nielsen and Morley Shads, Neilsen maybe , Morley no , if these are the Rebs pair, combined I think they will be the best. Have a good Christmas mate, see you in March hopefully .
  4. If Josh and Rohan can score heavily in most matches this is a top 6 side again. Reserves probably strongest in the league.
  5. Good signing if he comes off, Devils looking decent.
  6. Is this official yet? Can't find it anywhere? Cancel that it's on Facebook I'm told. Expected it to be on one of the Speedway related sites tbh, guess that will come next.
  7. Is Brady definitely not doing Prem next season.
  8. I think that Rye will struggle to win enough races tbh , if Kennett has an off day , can't see anyone else big enough to take over. Lot of pressure on Kennett to reproduce last seasons heroics.
  9. I was wondering when this would appear, I spoke to Ian yesterday and he is doing fine and being thoroughly spoilt by his family. I decided not to pry out some inside knowledge regarding the 2016 Rebels lol, get well soon mate from all of us up London see you around March time for the Rye match👍
  10. I stand corrected , can't count lol
  11. Bl**dy hell Lewy you feeling alright lol
  12. Agree it would be nice to get Jack Holder who has stated in the Star last week his liking of the OTA. Not sure if there were any sour grapes over last years business, shouldn't be really as neither party was at fault. I would imagine he would probably go to Plymouth again maybe as their number one which would be a massive step up, coming to Somerset would spare him that pressure I suppose. Kyle Howarth goes well at our place and is great mates with Josh so I'm guessing he is possibly the favourite. Starkey and Wrighty are no brainers and reading between the lines in the Star again it looks like they are nailed on. The rumour mill has Tungate coming to us, must have impressed Gary at the Pairs.
  13. Good luck to Brady Kurtz in his new adventure with Poole. On the occasions I have seen him he has always been great entertainment and a good point scorer for the Rebels. I fully expect him to follow Doyley and Zorro as ex Rebels who have gone on to GP level.
  14. Doyle, Sedgeman, Wright and probably Morris, ............ Somerset reunion!!!!!!
  15. Are we finished now on this now, bit like Question Time in Parliament 😂😂 What's the position with Jack Holder is he definitely Plymouth bound ?
  16. Thanks Mr B didn't realise Belle Vue were Friday's. Sorry to be a dumb klutz but do the British riders still get the reduction ?
  17. Rumours are going on about Josh going to Edinburgh which would make sense for him if he is doubling up with Belle Vue, and doesn't he stay with Kyle Howarth who is also based up t'north. I'm guessing Nick will be at Swindon again so he may be in the frame again, but what about Sedgy who openly said he made error in an article in the star last year I think that he made a mistake leaving Somerset. More rumours abound regarding Ritchie with just about everyone, not sure if Gary will trust him to up his average to second heat leader behind Brady, which is where he needs to be imo. I would think Paul, Charles and Brady will be nailed on , which is a good start as continuity is vital I believe especially at home. Rasmus impressed at the back end of last season and Robin Aspgren certainly enjoys the OTA but not so sure on away tracks. It will probably be Ollie Greenwood as the 3 pointer but if we could get Zach W as well that would give us more options at the top obviously. Brady Kurtz 8.73 Cameron Heeps 5.87 Charles Wright 6.89 Paul Starke 6.0 Nick Morris 7.91 Ollie Greenwood 3.00 Zach W 3.00 Very solid at home I feel with enough in the tank to nick some away points and room for improvement.
