  1. Can't believe I lost on Bjerre to score under 10 points tonight, thought it was only the showground that he could get scores as high as he did tonight! Was a free bet though which softens the blow.
  2. So once again GB's world cup campaign comes to a disappointing end abroad and the post mortem begins. To be fair to Middlo, his decisions have not really had an effect on where GB have finished, the problems with the GB team are deeper than his team selections and tactics (tactically it was probably his best world cup by his standards actually). Still agree with those who think someone else should have the role though. On a positive note I actually thought Bridger showed promise and could still make it, his bikes looked like they were somewhere near quick enough for the big tracks, most unusual amongst the fringe Team GB riders, as shown perfectly by Barker until jumping on Harris’ bike (since when has a rider been overtaken in Heat 1 at Prague?!). Bridger’s riding style looked smooth too and if he can keep getting rides in Poland then he could have a big part to play for GB in years to come. Not forgetting the younger riders who seem to be impressing already like Ellis and Lambert, I just hope they get the support they need to forge a good international career. Just riding the British tracks for years won’t see them reach the potential they’re showing now. Think the Latvians deserve a lot of credit for their performance, to get so close without a joker or any subs was impressive and not as surprising as the commentary kept making out. Look at their league and big individual meeting scores and they’re right in the mix.

  4. I'm a bit surprised that the Danes have gone with Pedersen for the King's Lynn round, thought they might rest him and just put him in for the final, good that he is in the team though. Shame that Jonsson can't take his place for the Swedes, should be fairly close between GB and the Swedes though, would like to think we could beat them.
  5. I've noticed this too, I usually type "british speedway" and it finds the speedway gb/BSPA site then.

  11. Well I lost on Nick Morris -2.5 v Fricke but some well timed in-play bets came good for me at the end, Monarchs +4 after Heat 13 and a 3-3 for Heat 15, didn't think Cook would miss off gate 1, he had to work hard for it though in the first lap or so.
  12. Eurosport's just listing a repeat of the British GP at 6.25 now, not read through the thread, is it raining in Torun?
  13. Glad I stayed clear of the Alden over 1.5 points bet, if it was offered as part of a double then I'd probably have gone for it. Pawlicki +1.5 vs Swiderski messed my double up that also had Ulamek -2.5 vs Stachyra, but thankfully I had a bit on that as a single too which covered me and a small amount on Szczepaniak -0.5 vs Stead (think it would have lost if Stead had completed the meeting). Missed out on King -1 vs Stead on Bet365, wish I'd have gone for that one.

  16. Thanks, managed to get it working in the end, opened it through Real Player and it's ok now, I knew I got it to work last season but couldn't remember how.
  17. Is there a trick to getting rid of the buffering/slow video quality on the stream? It always seems to happen on the Danish stream for me unfortunately. Normally I find a way to get streams working well but can't find a way with the Kanalsport one.
  18. Looks like Ljung could be a surprise non-qualifier this afternoon, fingers crossed for Nicholls in his final race.
  19. Bet Scott's not happy with that move, Smolinski looked out of control on the bend. Looks like Dryml's coming alive in the qualifiers once again!
  20. Why has the re-run of Heat 7 been stopped? Didn't see anything wrong at the start. Must add that it's a great stream now I've got it open in its own window.

  23. I thought about it but didn't, wish I had as I had a shocker tonight, painfully lost out on Bees -14 > Eastbourne and Kasprzak under 9 points, as well as Peterborough +8 vs Lakeside. Did have a win on Peterborough -9 vs Poole last night though so not all bad this week.
