  1. I understand most of what you waffle there and seriously it's only getting better and better mate. Fewer mistakes and more fluently each time. A few more matches and I think we may not hear a difference bettwen you and guys from Polsat or TVP Sport.. Watching the latest broadcast nothing of your commentary distracted me and I can't remind any serious mistake either Good job mate! He would have already come back if Bydgoszcz hadn't fallen down to Division 1 last yr.. So I'm pretty sure the king will return next yr
  2. It's on, at last! http://www.itv24.com.pl/film/159/intar_ost...onia_bydgoszcz/ login: lawrence password: bkspolonia
  3. Me too!! Bydgoszcz lost but I want to watch it again. There were a few cracking races and a few dull ones - not the best speedway ever all in all but very, very thrilling, decided in the last heat.
  4. Torun v Zielona Gora at 4.30 pm (Polish time) - my two beloved teams And Ostrow v Bydgoszcz should be uploaded onto itv24.com.pl on Monday evening. Going to Ostrow tomorrow so will let you know if the match is worth watching or not.. Pretty sure it will be worth it tho'
  5. Well, among other things - yes Personally I can't stand all those guys writing everywhere about the holiness of Falubaz, the magic of Falubaz etc.. There are just too many of you wherever you click on. And personally I simply can't wait the revenge for the last season And we'll never forgive Pepe, by the way! I respect you guys but you're just.. annoying.
  6. About 90 km's, road E261. Usually not longer than 1,5 hours, depends on traffic, roadworks etc.. http://map24.interia.pl - this may be useful.
  7. Leszno - Are the current powerhouses with an awesome team and great crowds. One of my fav tracks and stadiums to watch speedway. Zielona Gora - Passionate fans, knackered stadium, they will be my team, I used to work for Mickey Mouse Probably the most annoying fans in the world (with a few exceptions, of course). Gorzow - Young upstarts, great new stadium, millionaire backer?oh and now Gollob A team of one season. Czestochowa - World Champ, anything else? Pedersen and the rest. Should be enough for the bronze medal. Torun - Hooligan fans? Nah, there are better firms. Bydgoszcz' perennial enemy anyway Rzeszow - Pi$$ Poor Still far better than Tarnow. Tarnow - Recognise the name as being a strong team from years gone by but this year they look awful Rubbish indeed. Wondering if they can win any match this season. Wroclaw - Faded Granduer? the Belle Vue of Poland, am I off the mark? Crump and the rest. Should be enough to stay up in Ekstraliga. Gdansk - Look the part, have they been an Ekstraliga team in the recent past Good team, but not as good as Bydgoszcz. Polonia Bydgoszcz - Matueszs team, spiritually Gollobs home, shock relegation last year, good colours This season's Division 1 winners. Gollob coming back next yr and we're back in the game Ostrow - Naughty boys Naughty..?? Almost as good as Bydgoszcz but with -7 pts they are gonna have to wait one more year...
  8. Well, theoretically possible, practically - too much hassle. I want no stress at that weekend and am not gonna organise any bus etc.
  9. There are plenty of good clubs in Poznan. I usually suggest getting slightly pissed in one of pubs and then go pulling chicks to the Slodownia or SQ Club - probably two best clubs in Poznan. Both located in a posh shopping centre called Stary Browar (Old Brewery) on the floor -1 and -2 so if one club is full you can always try another one (not much difference between them). And within a walking distance from your hotel. Pubs and clubs around the Old Sqr are also ok. Thursday night is very good for clubbing - students begin their weekend and everyone wants to have fun after another tough week Friday night we'll probably land in Slodownia or SQ so likely to happen
  10. Great match Polonia Bydgoszcz v Lotos Gdansk already on itv24.com.pl www.itv24.com.pl/film/150/polonia_-_lotos_gdansk/ LOGIN [login]: lawrence HASLO [password]: bkspolonia
  11. Monday or Tuesday as the crew doing these coverages needs a bit of time to put everything together, prepare graphic inserts etc. How come? Well, I think we should be really grateful to those guys of www.itv24.com.pl. It's a new, local online television from Bydgoszcz and they make no profits on these speedway coverages. They are just speedway fans who decided to use their stuff and skills and do something for fans of Polonia Bydgoszcz And so far they've been doing a really good job. I don't think there's such online tv broadcasting speedway in any other Polish 'speedway city' but of course I wish there was. I hope it's just a matter of time though PS. An absolute cracker next week - Bydgoszcz v Gdansk. Two top teams of Division 1. It's not Ekstraliga but in this match you should feel no difference. And the atmosphere is gonna be smoking hot too. To get to Bydgoszcz on Sunday, Gdansk fans have already rented.. a train!
  12. Have just watched this meeting. Division 1 and easy win but can't say a couple of races were not cracking Well done Lawrence. A few more matches and you can send your cv to Polsat or Canal+ It will be the same. Anyone can register on this site and have a free access to all 2008 matches of Polonia Bydgoszcz Only after at the moment, but maybe someday, somehow..
  13. Rybnik v Bydgoszcz already uploaded onto www.itv24.com.pl
  14. Today's results Ekstraliga: Leszno v Czestochowa 50:42 Torun v Rzeszow 63:28 Tarnow v Zielona Gora rained-off Gorzow v Wroclaw rained-off Division 1: Rybnik - Bydgoszcz 38:55 Gdansk - Daugavpils 53:39 Grudziadz - Poznan 46:44 Ostrow - Rawicz 70:21
  15. Polish Railway timetables (in English): http://rozklad-pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en type from Leszno to Poznan Glowny There are many trains running on Sunday. The earliest one after the GP is at 1:34 am (56 minutes, arr in Poznan at 2:30 am) - that's the one most fans plan to go by. Might be a bit crowdy but funny for sure
  16. Not surprisingly, exactly the same prediction you can find on Polish bet-and-win site (bwin.com) Division 1 tomorrow: Rybnik - Bydgoszcz Gdansk - Daugavpils Grudziadz - Poznan Ostrow - Rawicz
  17. 7 riders (3 pairs and + 1 u-21 reserve rider).
  18. Home and away matches of Polonia, as far as I know. Should be uploaded one or two days after. Log out = Wyloguj (right top corner)
  19. You can watch Aces Criterion on a Bydgoszcz online tv channel - itv24.com.pl. Get on www.itv24.com.pl and click on Kryterium Asow 2008 (on the left side). Then you have to register beneath "Jezeli nie masz konta, stworz nowe". Type in your login, password (haslo), confirm your password (potwierdz haslo) and your e-mail address. The good old Gollob we admire. Outside forever Emil - hero of the day. Great ride, superb bikes. He's gonna be the Champ one day, no doubts PS. TG won 14 Aces Criterions out of 15 he rode in
