I nearly had a heart attack watching this match. Expected another easy win but what we got was a last heat decider! Some Bydgoszcz riders looked like complete amateurs in first heats at this tricky Poznan track... Thankfully Polonia made it after all. Don't forget to check out www.itv24.com.pl tomorrow night PS. As for the Bydgoszcz v Grudziadz match you'll be able to watch tomorrow night on itv24.com.pl. It was nothing special as it couldn't be. Grudziadz are a much weaker team than Bydgoszcz so no one expected anything but hammering them today. However, some heats weren't that bad as Grudziadz were a bit better at the gate so Bydgoszcz boys had some work to do.. First races were dull but it got better later on. All in all, I think it's worth spending those 30 minutes in front of screen, anyway. Not worse than Monday's BEL for sure

Andreas Jonsson is negotiating with the Swedes who own rights to Elitserien broadcasts on behalf of Polish Polsat Sport. This year Polsat Sport are doing Polish Division 1 and BEL (Sky Sports live coverage every Monday). They would also like to show Elitserien but couldn't reach an agreement with the Swedes.. The Swedish side wanted too much money. However, AJ agreed to talk to them on behalf of Polsat and maybe he'll manage to sort this out somehow.. Fingers crossed, as this way we could have all three major leagues here: Polish (both divisions), British and Swedish Today I watched BEL on sopcast - someone shared the Polsat Sport stream. Not a perfect quality but fluent and good enough to see everything. So I presume if Polsat reach an agreement with the Swedes it may be possible to watch Elitserien via sopcast etc. too

As for Gollob - yes, he was lucky about this gate one but he simply did what he had to do. Made no mistake and won 4 times in a row from this gate. A combination of a bit of luck and good reflex/skills gave him this victory. I don't see any point in discrediting his success. You always need some luck to win in such a competitive tournament like SGP. Also, in the semifinal and the final he could run from the gate one because of, respectively, his score and winning the semi so it was not about the luck in these two final heats. It usually used to be like Gollob to be unlucky. This time it was slightly different. And long may it continue! Roll on Leszno !!

Am f.cked at the moment too. All pubs in Poznan are showing stupid football tonight. And the Danes stopped their online broadcast after a few heats Hopefully they guy doing the sopcast stream will switch on speedway once the football's over..

I remember what the w@nkers sung. However, it doesn't feel like a derby match to me. There's only one proper derby and hopefully we'll have it next yr. But so far I've been enjoying these Division 1 matches. Speedway is speedway and Polonia are my team, no matter where. Nawet w 1 lidze Polonii sie nie wstydze!
