  1. You're not the only one going this route Are you going to Poznan by the train leaving at 10:17 on Sunday morning ? If so, we may collect nearly a full compartment of speedway fans
  2. And now I can announce it won't be the last GP in Bydgoszcz (let's say for 98%) I wasn't supposed to write about it earlier but one of local newspapers has got a leak and now it's not a big secret anyway The new contract between the city of Bydgoszcz and IMG is to be signed for 3 years and hopefully it will happen this Friday. This requires some serious conversion of the stadium and all things being well it's gonna start off in a close future too.
  3. Cool. I know why you cheer for ZG but would prefer if you refrain from editing my posts. Anyway!
  4. Nice ones. Who cares... It's been the first time I was ashamed of being his webmaster. I'm recovering slowly but you've just killed me with "mices" mate PePe's match of the season.. Which doesn't change the fact he's a w@#&35. I've uploaded some vids: Atmosphere during team's parade (from 1st bend) Atmosphere during teams' parade (from my angle) "Polonia Bydgoszcz!" Heat 2 - one of a few we won Flags and some flares
  5. I am totally devastated. The game is still on but I have lost all of my faith today.
  6. Live updates Off to the stadium now. Let mortal kombat begin Will provide full report, pics & vids when I get back.
  7. You mean parking near the stadium? It's been a problem since I remember. There's no one big parking place unfortunately. Just nearby streets, pavements etc.
  8. Mama, forget about communists managing that forum. At least you're having fun when Buczek's abroad! I wez se ustaw flage polska w avatarze ;P
  9. Right, my comment on this piece of news then. First of all, I think it might be a "smokescreen" to make us feel more relaxed or self-confident before the match. I won't be surprised seeing both Lindgren and Puk in the pits tomorrow.. Actually, there seem to be many options. Absence of both, only Puk, only Lindgren, RR for Lindgren etc. However, if it's true I can't say my thoughts are with poor Falubaz fans now. They will be very unlucky having their two gunners injured but so were we for most season.. I would love to see my team winning this whole race-off after fair fight from both teams riding with their best squads but the stake is too high and what I really want to happen is my team just saving this damn Ekstraliga, no matter of style they do it. I don't wish any rider any injury, but as it's already happened, I wouldn't mind if Lindgren or Puk stay in bed tomorrow. #$%^, I'm so excited about this match I can't study, I can't do anything!
  10. Lol, what was the official plot then? Illness?
  11. Does anyone of our Swedish friends have any info about Lindgren? He crashed with Zorro at the finish line of heat 21 and then was taken by ambulance to the pits / hospital (?). Any updates? I wanna find out if there's any chance he won't ride tomorrow against Bydgoszcz.
  12. Hehe, this restaurant / hotel was famous for some brawls made there two years ago by the riders, mechanics etc. of Unia Tarnow when they were celebrating Polish Championship title It's 6 km from the city centre, by the west junction.
  13. Yesterday, after the match in Torun, Gollob mentioned on the local radio that he's close to come back to Bydgoszcz and everything will be clear soon. He was also present at the practice at Polonia today helping some of our riders with their bikes. It's been the first time he was doing it since he moved to Tarnow so.. there must be something in the air (pics)
  14. For all of you coming to Bydgoszcz, but especially for Bydgoszcz newbies, I've prepared a map containing most strategic locations. Just to keep at least some sense of direction on the battlefield The map 1. Speedway stadium 2. Railway central station 3. Pod Orlem hotel 4. Brda hotel 5. City hotel + Chesterfield club with babes, riders and some undercover prostitutes 6. Old Square 7. Rooster restaurant - decent prices, good food and top chicks 8. Savoy club 9. Euphoria club 10. Coach central station
  15. You never know, it's just our Polish mess - everything's possible
  16. Yes. Stupid regulations. Should be just a classic play-off for top 4 or something like this. Matches are usually exciting enough and don't need such crazy rules.. What's more, Torun could have let Tarnow win by a few points to kick Wroclaw out and make their semis easier.. That would have been totally unfair but that's what these regulations allow you to do Couldn't agree more. I believe Bydgoszcz will score about 50-54 pts to seal the deal in ZG but seriously, no result is gonna surprise me.. Every single point matters. I have no idea how I'm gonna survive these two matches, they are going to be two the most nervous meetings of recent history of the club. It's all or nothing, literally. Have been going to speedway for about 10 years and in that period of time we were never so close to relegation.. Hope both teams will finish with full line-up as the atmosphere is more than boiled. Mind you Bydgoszcz are the only club in Ekstraliga that has never fallen down to Division 1. We've been riding in Ekstraliga since 1951 and no one wants to break up with such tradition.
  17. Play-off: 2nd round, 1st leg Wroclaw - Torun (19.00) Rzeszow - Leszno (18.30, live on PolsatSport) Race-off for the 7th place, 1st leg (staying up in Ekstraliga) Bydgoszcz - Zielona Gora (19.00 cet)
  18. As predicted, Torun have beaten Tarnow hands down (56-37) and qualified for the second round of play-off with the best points aggregate. The qualified teams order is: 1. Torun 2. Leszno 3. Rzeszow 4. Wroclaw (lucky looser) Which means the second round pairs are: Rzeszow & Leszno Wroclaw & Torun
  19. Torun v Tarnow has just started - live updates.
  20. What I've just heard is that there's only about 3000 tickets left. Sold-out guaranteed! Just one week woooo !
  21. Ye, follow Rico & Mama Travel's example from the 'Day after..' thread
