Where's that been said?
-
What about the know all's? There's plenty of them on the forum
-
If your that good at predictions, what's the lottery numbers for tonight? The same promotion who picked a team that topped the league most of the year and provided some of the best meetings in a long time. Yes they make mistakes, alienate the fans and do/say some odd things, I'm sure many of the other promotions do the same. It's been said several times, the team that starts the season won't be there at the end if they don't perform. So who knows where we will finish. Keep the faith.
-
Based on what? No other team is completed. As per last year, we can make changes. The team isn't what we wanted but for Christ sake let's see what the other teams look like and give our boys a chance to slide before bemoaning. This isn't aimed solely at you Game On, we do seem to have 5/6 regular posters who are constantly critical. Much to the joy of other teams posters.

I'd put him at 2 to partner KK. Puts more onus on Jason but he's proved he can do it already.
-
He is, he qualified? Though I do understand where your coming from.
-
But KK and Harris are saying he's good enough so I'm sure they rate him more highly than a Martin Knuckey? The point is we can't use anymore double up riders and it would appear the elite draft list will block a move for a strong forgien rider. So who else could or in your mind should we have gone for? I don't disagree the young lad will have a big job on his hand to attain an average above 5, so I'll kindly decline the bet. However he's in and whilst he is the fans should give him a chance. id still like to see you go for a wobble

The thing is you don't race a speedway bike for a living and this lad does, so that's a pathetic comparison. We all know it's a gamble, Horton has said so himself. However, senior professionals/GP riders believe he is good enough, I'd take there comments over yours any day. Harris has even stated he's better than him in Poland so he can't be that bad. Whilst Jamrog was a flop, we also signed the Pawlicki's in a stronger league and they did well. Horton has stated there isn't an abundance of riders out there who fit, other promotors are struggling too (some won't have a proper no1)! Guess all teams will be taking a gamble with team building this year. Ps I think you would be amazing, give it a go

Here we go again, all these whinging moaning people. Let's have some faith in the riders we've signed and give them support/chance. The season is months away and we don't have a clue how the others teams will be lining up so how can anyone say how we will do. Last season changes were made when necessary, I'm sure the same will be done again in 2016 if things don't go to plan. From the info we've had the young pole comes highly recommended by Harris and KK. KK himself is looking to kick start his fortunes and from what I've seen of Bates he's one very determined young lad. Of the rest Harris finished last year as his best in Bees leathers, King is a solid 3rd heat leader, Sarjeant is ready to push on and Garrity is showing great ambition by not being on the draft list. For those knocking the promotion remember Havvy will be having his say in the team. Keep the faith.
-
Great news. Big year for Jason, I hope he's pushing for a heat leader role by mid season. Always thought he would sign, after all his best mate Bates is in the team. Does leave us with a big chunk of points left to get to the limit.
-
Don't even joke, that's not funny. Lol

Is Rory fit/riding next year?
-
From the Bees website "2016 COVENTRY team member Danny King will be the next guest of the NSSC on Thursday November 19 (8pm). The meeting takes place at the club's new venue: Brandon Club. Main St, Brandon. CV8 3HW Coventry supremo Mick Horton also intends to come along to answer your questions later in the evening. Adam ("Griller") Roynon will again be firing off the questions mixed with plenty of light hearted banter." We hope to see you there. Will Mick be announcing any new riders?
-
Simon Stead back at Sheffield.
-
I'd forgot on about Steady too. Assuming he is riding following a long lay off I'd have thought BV would have been his choice? Any ideas on his average? Surely not in the heat leader list lol
-
Oh dear, the end of the world is here. You lot are so doom and gloom. At least wait until the riders are announced before moaning
-
I wonder if you'll be saying the same too 🤑😜
-
Money's on King being announced.
-
Garrity confirmed back at Sheffield.
-
Dinner and dance thingy Saturday, maybe some new signings will be announced. Or those attending could ask about the riders they're looking at? Horton and Havvy always say they want an out and out no.1 Can only hope this year we get one!

Poole Vs The Aces For The Title
Brandon replied to Crazy robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Congratulations Poole and commiserations Belle Vue. A good final, well contested. -
Assuming the same points limit as this year, we could have: AJ 7.84 Harris 7.34 Hans 6.45 Freddie Lingren 6.11 Kenneth Bjerre 5.89 Bjerre at 2 and Lindgren at 4 would clean up! Not my cup of tea but shows how you could build a team. Or swap FL for Scott Nicholls, Danny King, Bech Or KB for Bech,

Hate all those ........................................................……

From this year: Harris and Garrity are must haves. Andersen, JK and King maybes Robson, Howarth and that pole at the start of the season are no thanks. Of any others I don't want Scott (been there, move on), Mads, Watt, Batchelor, Kennett, Stead, PK, Lindgren, Bjerre or Barker We need a number 1 (who dosnt), that's a priority. So could go with: 1. TBC who would come? 2. Garrity 3. King/JK/Shamek/Piotr 4. Andersen/Rob Lambert 5. Harris For me the draft track system needs a tweak, it should be one rider only with the other reserve being on a start average of 4 or below.
