Super Blue
All confirmed in this mornings paper . Ihave to admit that I thought the move down to reserve would have brought the points and confidence to kick start Ritchie's season but it wasn't to be . Interesting that he says he just didn't get started this season listing the following as reasons for quitting - His crash in his first race Bike problems all season Doesn't hit it off with Phil Hilton at meetings He goes on to say wearing a Witch is not easy as Ipswich are still a big club with with a big history and a defeat is blown out of all proportions . It's been too negative at times . I wonder how much he reads on here ? Good luck to Ritchie in whatever he does or wherever his next move is in life ! Ashley Morris in to replace him also confirmed , a young lad with a future IMO who I was surprised to see dumped by Plymouth when he was just getting back into his racing following injury . Im certainly looking forward to see him race and welcome him to the fold . Edited June 23, 2015 by Super Blue
spanner47
I don't know why, but I actually had you down as a rohan fan Mr 47. I don't know why but I just did. I think for some reason a few extra fans have seen a different side to him this season. Wouldn't say I've ever been a fan, but as long as any rider is doing his best, then that's fine by me. But if CL thinks Rohan can over this blip, then I trust his judgement, he's forgotten more about this sport than us lot on here will ever know. Welcome to Foxhall Ashley, hopefully your teammates will start performing at home thus enabling you to have 4 rides each meeting, we don't bite and don't expect miracles, but just try your best, and don't get in the way of a faster teammate, that really pisses us off.

Badge
Well I'm absolutely gutted our best captain has left club. You will be missed Ritchie by some of us anyway.

Looks like the Team manager is more important than a captain....?
Roland
Best at what? We've not had to build an extension on the trophy room during his brief tenure.
BluPanther
Shame to see Ritchie go but good captains don't win trophies. Winning teams are normally built with a strong willed competitive backbone and i'm not seeing that in recent years..

Baldyman
So Hawkins has said he doesn't hit it off with Hilton at meetings. Wonder if tungate doesn't either?
TheScotsman
Smart move ahead of your next visit to Armadale. Morris knows the way there having ridden for the Mons before!!

Super Blue
Wonder who the new captain will be ? Let me think , Danny is the only possible choice and im sure will lead from the front . Lets be honest here , it's been hard to lead from the back for Ritchie when you're not scoring or setting an example to the younger riders . Baldyman
Biggest bust up for years? Is that classic over selling? Maybe this Hilton bloke is a bit of a bully on race days? Edited June 23, 2015 by baldyman

Lol ...you are having a laugh aren't you.....Classic case of a new manager having to take a under performing rider out of rides and the rider not liking it
Baldyman
I'm not having a laugh. I'm just up selling it.

London Witch
I'm so disappointed about this. Ritch has never let the team down. He had a big fall at the start of the season that knocked his confidence and apparently doesn't get along with the new team manager. Given a bit more time I'm certain he'd be performing as he did last season. His input in the pits will be missed too. Good luck Cap'n Hawkins. You will be missed. Welcome to Ashley Morris, you've big boots to fill but as always anyone who rides in the Witch will be made welcome. My appetite for speedway has taken another knock today. Thank heavens for Nico.

Do you think any rider who is riding poorly and taken out of rides gets on with the team manager !!!!!!!!!!...probably not.....Great lad but he wasn't getting any better and in Ashley Morris I think we have a little gem
