Club CEO Nigel Tolley explained: “Matej has been riding on a temporary visa whilst his permanent one is approved - this is standard practise. “It is valid for one month and has now expired. “Matej’s application for a visa has been in progress since February but, inexplicably, has not yet been issued. “Process times are quoted as being three weeks and no reason has been forthcoming for the delay, we have been chasing daily. “All other Birmingham riders have all been processed in plenty of time. “We very much look forward to Matej rejoining the team when his illusive visa is issued.” The club are allowed a guest up to 75 per cent of Matej’s average and as such, Lewis Kerr has been booked for both fixtures against the Aces. So Zagar has visa issues? Tell him to switch to Mastercard for goodness sake 😤

As I said crazy suggest and would probably never happen but that's the kinda guy you need to pitch it too. Not only would it be good for Brummies I think it would be major for the sport as a whole
szkocjasid
Looking at the May averages, if Birmingham dropped Vuolas they'd have 7.20 available to replace him. While I don't know where they'd find a heat leader from, even a rider with a 4.51+ allowing Jeppesen to drop to reserve would make the team competitive. That's providing Zagar returns.

Steve Irving
They certainly need a boost from somewhere. Issue as always is cash. Nothing left over here worth going for, so anyone coming over will be expensive and as we know, finance is tight at Birmingham. Horrible situation.
