  1. A retired King's Lynn Star that looks in from afar, with the occasional away meeting, I have you know. Keeping Buster balls warm in the palm of my hand on a cold summers evening has long past sir 🤗
  2. Was the same, but I've unblocked everyone. Miss out on so much funny stuff, especially the angry responses. It's funny seeing people have a breakdown over nothing.
  3. Couldn't care less. When being a fully grown adult, moderation shouldn't be necessary. Just take responsibility for your own actions. Those who respond & keep doing so are far greater of a problem than the initial poster.
  4. If you believe that you'd be way off. That mentality would see the end of British Speedway. We've to many rider's earning abroad & using British Speedway as top-up.
  5. Just scroll past, you don't have to read it. It's not difficult to ignore. Let's not forget that British Speedway is a joke & a laughing stock, so why think a forum would be any different?? If the custodians of our sport can't be serious, why should fans?? Just be excited that Sunderland, Newcastle & Middlesbrough could be all in footballs top flight in 2026/2027
  6. I just can't believe how so many get wound up by a single poster. It says far more about those people than a wind up merchant.
  7. We go through this every year. Regardless of possible underhand reasoning, what is it Speedway fans want?? We see hundreds of comments of ban RR / guests, makes the sport a joke. Then there's moaning (rightly so imo) that meetings are called off for rain from 5-8pm. People need to stop being selfish pr!cks and realise the financial implications just for fans alone. There are 100s of fans at King's Lynn that it's costing £40-£80 round trip for these meetings. Taking whole / half day holidays from work Absolutely, 100%, calling a meeting a day before is beneficial for the wider public, regardless of reason
  8. Hampel is a strange one for me, seen some exceptional overtakes from him at League & GP level. If Hampel is included then Hancock would be also wouldn’t he?? For me, the biggest gating slag I'd ever seen was Adam Allott around King's Lynn. Never seen anyone like it.
  9. Correct, we both mean the same thing, it's 2 fold. Rider's & engineers are constantly looking for more power & speed. While at the same time, rider's want less & less dirt & water on tracks, in the name of "safety". Both are counteractive hence the lack of broken track records. In fact, most races are now 2-4 seconds slower than 15-20 years ago. If seeled engines are not an option, the FIM could introduce a rear sprocket regulation, max of 57-58 teeth. This would force riders & tuners to look for torque rather than horse power, this would make bike that more adaptable for all conditions.
  10. There are many reasons but for me, it's the constant search for speed, more speed, even greater speed than the last. Speedway globally should go for an engine reset & go down the standardised 'sealed units' route. Get rid of expensive 3rd party parts tuners.
  11. Waiting for the comments on this excellent, full throttle speedway race. What would that be for I wonder? 🤣 So, a game of 'Spot The Difference'. A clue, it happens on lap 1.
  12. Anyone can do a screen shot to suit an argument. His machine does not go left at any point down the straight and he's lined up to go through gate 3. Video evidence is very very clear on what happened. It seems some still need lessons in basic physics.
  13. The white trail line is the biggest evidence you need regardless of the front wheel movement. Rushen doesn't deviate. I'm still waiting for an explanation as to what Cooper should have done??
  14. 🤣 thanks for that, the white line proves he's not turning left regardless of actions of his front wheel. Cooper doesn't deviate from his chosen line which a rider in front has a right to choose. As a following rider it's your responsibility to be more aware of what's happening in front of them. Regardless, as I'd already said, it's a typical racing accident expected from inexperienced rider's.
  15. For curiosity, what should Cooper have done, just wave Harrison through???
  16. Exactly. It was pure accident all round. Cooper's line down the straight didn't alter & Harrison was quicker out the corner. For me, Harrison just didn't have the awareness of what was happening in front of him. Everything you expect to see from inexperienced young rider's. This accident is textbook to why many argued the Premiership shouldn't be a place for 'Rising Stars' to learn their trade. Maybe there should be parameters in place for RS spots, as per:- Must have a 6.00+ 20 meeting rolling Championship average & 5.00+ 10 away meeting rolling Championship average.
  17. "012.1.14 Foul, Unfair or Dangerous Riding In certain circumstances the Referee may disqualify a rider for foul, unfair or dangerous riding from the remainder of the meeting. In this case no replacement facilities are allowed for the remainder of a team meeting."
  18. Don't think there's any evidence of substantial time out. I've seen it mentioned a week to 10 days out at most somewhere. The biggest challenge will be team bonding & friendship between Scott & Rushen. Some family members are feeling pretty angry. At the end of the day, this is one of the most dangerous motorsports in the world, accidents happen. If you can't handle it, find something else. For me, Rushen did absolutely zero wrong, people need to chill a little.
  19. I'd look at moving Rushen to No7 & find a more experienced No6 if possible 🤷‍♂️
  20. But he is going to look, he made an error off the bend so checked everyone else's position, it's normal with every rider who makes an error. Absolutely normal to do. At the point of Rushen looking back, Harrison was far enough behind to see Rushen's corrective manoeuvres. For me, the incident only arises because Harrison isn’t aware of his surroundings. Rushen doesn't & never did turn left down the straight. The only decision the referee had on offer was excluding Harrison.
  21. Watching the incident over & over & for me (unpopular opinion clearly) the referee made the right call. Rushen overshooting the corner a little & just tries to get his wheels in line quicker to regain speed to hold position. At no point through the whole move is he moving left down the straight. The view from behind is very very clear on that. For me, Harrison had enough time & room to see what was happening in front of him but failed to adjust to the situation.
  22. I bet a couple of promoters butt-holes will be nipping up with Northamptons form so far. Slapped together just to help make the numbers up & they may not even finish bottom 🫣 Which Northampton rider will get the chop first for being "TOO GOOD" to help the rest of the league? 😲
  23. If King's Lynn look to replace Scott (which they absolutely shouldn't), couldn't they just move Rushen to R/S & find someone more experienced at No6?? For me, wait for the 1st/2nd set of averages to come through and if someone is to be replaced, look at the No2 spots. While we're in the KO Cup matches it has to be a stick with what we've got.
