SamKM91
Predictions for the second leg, King’s Lynn lead 53-37 after the first leg, who will win on the night and who will make the semis?… Edited March 26 by SamKM91 Wrong date
TTT
King's Lynn win again due to the reserves knowing how to get around Oxford. Spires 43 - 47 Stars

Spires 43 - 47 Stars I don't think your far out there TTT. I'm sure going through with no injuries will be the first thing on Robs mind. But a win will be good for building team spirit also. A couple of points either way for me. Edited March 26 by Bald Bloke spelling
PTW
Frightening how much will Harris get at reserve on a track he rode at heatleader last year,Lynn certainties to go through here. Edited March 26 by PTW
Speedball
Not sure I'm as confident as some above but we should be capable of defending a 16 point lead, especially with Bomber at reserve. But Wright & Riss will more than likely fare better than they did at the AFA. I fancy us to go through on aggregate but could see Oxford winning on the night. But that's my ol' Norfolk pessimism shining through 😆

A Heatleader last year A Reserve this year. Admittedly in a team built around strength in depth. If you asked a man in the street who knew nothing about Speedway that you build a team like in American Sports to equal strengths. Your team has 7 members, one of your team was a top 3 rider at the start of last year but a bottom 2 rider this year. I daresay they'd say he's on the slippery slope. As we all know Speedway is a bit different. I hope Bomber does well, not many finer sights than when he's on it. The problem I see for KL, as with all built in strength teams, is injuries, they have a couple of injury prone riders, they can cover with RR if everyone firing. But if they need replacements it becomes a problem as it can be 2 or 3 out to bring 1 in. Edited March 26 by Triple.H. Anyone with no knowledge to Speedway would simply say "oh, right, OK." and walk away or say "what the fook are you talking about." If someone tried to explain baseball or NASCAR to me, it's going over my head. Absolutely no chance of understanding or assuming someone's in decline from a nonsense conversation. That's far to much credit to the average Joe on the street.

At times last year Harris dropped to 4th (second string) in the averages, but pretty much remained at number 5 all year, riding in heat 13 will lower your average. This year Lynn have 5 riders "stronger" than Harris, Belle Vue 4, Birmingham 3, Ipswich 4, Leicester 4, Oxford 3 & Sheffield 4. So it could be fair to say Lynn have a "second string" riding at reserve, rather than a heat leader.

szkocjasid
I see no chance for Oxford progressing, Lynn could even win on the night. I suppose Oxford's best chance would be if you remove the points scored by Lynn's top scorer lol!
StarBoy
I think Oxford will sneak it, but Lynn have done enough in the first leg to make it through untroubled. 48-42 (85-95). OXS 1. Tungate - 10 2. Riss - 5 3. Wright - 8 4. Kildemand - 6 5. Janowski - 11 6. Gusts - 6 7. Killeen - 2 Total - 48 KLS 1. Cook - 6 2. Lawson - 7 3. Klindt - 6 4. Iversen - 5 5. Kvech - 7 6. Harris - 9 7. Daniel Smith
Schroeck did(n't) say: “It was the Iversen show. We had this meeting in the bag, we were by far & away the best side over these 2 legs. When you take him away, it wouldn't of even been close.”

Bagpuss
Early days and with respect not the strongest of opposition but that is a very pleasing start to the season indeed. Very much looking forward to BV at home on Monday evening which will be a much stiffer test despite their cup exit.
