Leicester v Ipswich 17th April

A track we have a good record on. Brennan goes well here too so that strengthens us around here. Should be a good battle as Leicester are strong at home but I think the reserves could be decisive. Thompson and Jenkins you’d think should comfortably get the better of Kemp and Hagon although Kemp has shown he can win races around here.

Think I'm coming along to this one. First league meeting for years.

Am i better off buying tickets in advance online, or just on the gate?

If the queues for the BV match are anything to go by I'd recommend buying in advance, I shall from now on.

Has there been any rain Leicester way? We’ve had a fair bit down here last couple of days which was needed. Been such a dry start to the year all tracks could do with a bit of a soaking.

Barely... and there's quite a drying wind with strong sunshine today, the track is going to need to take some watering!

Dan Thompson will have a field day.

Lions 40 - 50 Witches

Agree with this score if Witches number 5 isn't watching his average again like at Birmingham.... In my opinion!

There's been no appreciable rain for over a week in Leicester. Bring your goggles!

I think the stumbling blocks could be Becker and Douglas beating King and Ellis. Although, Thompson and Jenkins will back the guys up with good points and Doyle and Emil shouldn't be as bad as at Birmingham. Close match and good to watch but Witches to win by 6 or 8.

If Doyle and Emil can recover their usual away form after Birmingham blip then can see an away win 40-50,  Thompson should be getting a good haul points if current form is continued as can’t see either home reserve beating him.  The Becker/Douglas/Howarth v King/Ellis/Brennan will be key if Leicester are to get anything as can’t see Masters picking up much against the Witches 1 & 5 during the night

Pretty much what we expected on bend 3/4. Douglas is poor this season so far, not helping, that was lost at reserve though.
