I do dislike having to pay to watch the juniors race, when I don’t particularly want to. 2 meetings in a day is enough for me, the 3rd is a stretch too far in afraid.

Hopefully should be a decent meeting with having 2 capable teams racing

30 races for 30 quid is good value in my book. I can understand people who go to the BV meeting finding it a bit of a long old day. 
 

think Sheffield will take the bonus point, Cook and Blodorn not great round Owlerton and Lidsey can be very hit and miss. Kurtz and Bewley will have to score 12 each to keep it tight

Seen Jack Holder have more good rides than bad round NSS, don’t write off Rowe and Flint they have both stepped up a gear this season expect Flint and Kerr to better the BV reserves

Do you really follow speedway at all or are even interested in it?

The so called Junior races are the future of British Speedway and some wonderful talent on show.

I for one, are far more interested in watching these young lads aspire to the dizzy heights of representing their Premier League teams in the future.

But hold on, you will not watch them now, but will in the future?

Good for you, but that’s just you isn’t it and not everyone thinks the same way obviously. I’m not interested in watching the junior racing either, not in the slightest. No need to get all upperty and look down your nose at those that aren’t interested in it. Judging by the non existent crowds at NDL level I’d say you’re in a tiny minority.

There is also the point that people are being forced to pay £30 even if they want to leave after heat 15 of the main meeting.

It for the Colts v Steelers meeting at Sheffield after the Premiership meeting to give any Aces fans the option of watching both if they want to not being forced to.

Agree it’s not on really but I suppose it’s difficult to police and get people out if you stagger the payments for either/or or both meetings.
 

The good thing though for balance, is the youngsters will get to ride in front of a bigger than usual crowd than what most of them are used to so I’m sure they’ll all be looking forward to that.

I'm on record as having predicted great stardom for young Cairns after his appearance at Owlerton at the back end of 2024. If anyone is thinking of sloping off after the PL action I would strongly recommend you stick around for a while to take a look at this lad; he's still at school but he's dynamite.

Where to start… I don’t need to justify my likes/dislikes to you and don’t really care what you think- I doubt that I know you and so your Views are fairly meaningless to me. But given you asked the question,  yes I do follow speedway and am interested in it…. But that doesn’t mean to say that I want to watch 3 meetings in a day. I don’t tend to watch the NDL, but by the same token, I don’t tend to watch the GPs either - I support Sheffield and have done for the majority of my life (Leicester supporter until they closed in the 80’s, Long Eaton as a brief sabbatical when Sheffield closed). 
 

If you actually read my comment correctly, my main issue aside from being forced to watch, was that I thought 3 meetings in a day was too much and I stand by that. My kids have normally had enough after 1 meeting.

Which is fine if you want to watch it, if not you’re getting £30 for one meeting which is absolutely awful value. Especially for those Belle Vue fans who are potentially wanting to get home.

There will be an awful lot who’ll leave straight after the meeting, despite having “paid” to watch the junior racing. Still think/hope enough stay behind for the youngsters sake though so they get to race in front of a larger crowd than they are used to. Can’t blame anyone for leaving after the main meeting though. Couple of hours is more than enough for most.
