Gavan
Doyle and Dan T rides scored a total of 9 We lost 8 points through engine failures Massacre in all honesty
THE DEAN MACHINE
Scoreline flattered Birmingham, musielak was brilliant after 2 duff rides and castanga is earning his points too but rew seems to be going backwards, jeppersen after a promising start to season is really struggling, Edward’s is ok but is getting beat by his reserve counterparts regularly and zagar is just zagar, they have the riders to do it but I just can’t see where the first and probably only victory is coming from
LagutaRacingFan
Disappointing to see Birmingham lose. Zagar and Jeppesen need to be doing a lot better.
GeneralMelchett
Zagar is just a waste of time - he was poor at Owlerton save one ride where he gated a stayed out. With MJJ gone Birmingham really are struggling. Good to see Tobi gettign a decent score. Witches managed a fairly routine with without two of their most effective riders Dan and Jason - speedy recoveries to both!

I wouldn't believe the visa bullsh*t excuse why he wasn't riding, he wasn't paid and now they expect him to come back and do a good job for them? However, I would expect that the visa application (for which there was a problem) which I think I read somewhere was submitted at the back end of last year would have needed to have been approved prior to Zagar working in the UK. How could he have been able to ride (work) for Birmingham prior to the visa being approved? Edited May 20 by JamesB

Even a 7 point rider scoring 5 points a match is more valuable to a team than Vuolas or Hume would be. It would be different if they were built to the points limit & had other heat leader options available.

GiveusaB
Don't think it matters whether Zagar rides or not....it wont make a blind bit of difference to the rest of the season!!! His attendance will make no difference to the gate receipts.....he's past his sell by date!

Bash
Are Birmingham not allowed to show delayed streams of their meetings anymore when TNT have a televised meeting the same night. I noticed that they did this a few weeks ago, but didn't on Monday when Ipswich were in town. This is taking money away from the club and it's not as if TNT showed any heats from this meeting anyway so they should be able to delay the stream, another shot in the foot for speedway. Maybe the delayed streams attracted so few buyers, that Birmingham decided it wasn't worth recording the meeting?
