What happened to Matt Marson?

Seems to be a mystery, no explanation in BSPL website previews,

On the British Speedway site

He was down to ride for Edinburgh at Middlesborough today but they are using RR instead as he is on compassionate leave, my guess is NDL fixtures have priority over NDT as the latter was a later addition for this season.

Surprised Kent continue with these Sunday 12 noon starts. Surely too early in summer heat and when some fans will have a long journey. 5pm would allow heat of day to subside and give more time for track prep.

Planning permission only allows the use of the track for public events between 12.00 and 17.00.

It’s a crazily late start to the season for Plymouth. No surprise really that some of their riders tailed off at the end of the meeting.

Four of the 6 have been riding for other clubs, so should be "match fit".

With so few fixtures in the NT, maybe Plymouth are going about it the right way, racing in (hopefully) better weather & not having months between meetings?

The track was much better than the previous meeting - looks as if there was more material on it and well watered on a sunny and breezy day. Hats off to Graham. And what a healthy looking crowd on Fathers Day. Just a pity we have to wait so long to see this side ride again!

well done to all involved in running this meeting on a greatly improved track some excellent racing

If you can have a good track with the current hot/dry conditions, congratulations to the track team and when we get the cooler conditions should get even better. As others, especially Birmingham have shown it's not an easy thing to achieve.

Uncle Bob and Uncle Len would have been pleased.....
