As much as I agree, and I work in new build Construction, the council will not build on that side of the A22, its rural with lots of stables and no infrastructure in place for the area. Bob Dugard tried many years ago to sell the land for development, it just wont happen IMHO

Hey mate, It's not a development issue as stated, the safety certificate has been withdrawn from the stadium. Around 18 months ago planning for an 'eco village' was turned down and the council made it clear that planning for housing will never be granted on the rural side of the A22.

The main issue that Vinnie had was he was injured in the first meeting of the season. He was out for a month or so and was playing catch up in terms of race fitness and shaking off his injury. He then ended up in the main team and with not that many matches to get race fit and the step up, his form has nose dived but there are signs he can improve although in an ideal world he should be doing this in a reserve berth.

Had a different profile before but this one joined in 2005. Lucky to work with a rider for 9 years, lost my club Eastbourne a few years ago now and despite being part of a consortium to bring the sport back to Sussex the Dugard's made it clear they wont let the sport run at Arlington again. Don't post that much anymore or go to many meetings but have sponsored a few riders over the years and now just sponsor Vinnie Foord.
