Others said the same thing in that you could be ill and say there is a family emergency. Don’t really see the point of a ban in genuine case. The Teams can get guest so that negates the point. The Teams can get guest so that negates the point. I think the rule was brought in to stop riders feeling "ill" every time they were due at Exeter, then making a quick recovery for their next match. A 7 day suspension stops this happening. But it also means riders who are genuinely ill, having to miss more meetings than necessary, which means more guests (when they should be trying to limit them). Could also mean a rider races when not well to avoid a suspension, potentially causing an accident if he's not strong enough to control the bike. I would get rid of the rule, maybe of it happens multiple times in a season, can look into it, but anyone can be sick one day & off work, but back the next. Why can't Speedway riders? Better make a comment on the match. Glasgow to win on aggregate. Edited yesterday at 10:00 PM by szkocjasid

I think 7 days is too harsh especially for a first offence, maybe a 1 match ban or 3 day ban and then increase for each illness in the season just to stop any abuse. I think earlier in the season Howarth rode unwell to avoid the ban and if I remember right did end up injured.

Noelinho
I don't understand Edinburgh's riding order. It seems odd to me. I did think this would be a close tie overall with Glasgow winning on the night. Looking at the lineups now, I think Glasgow might have the lead by the first grading break. Now watch me get egg on my face...

Marcin Rempala was talent but spent most of his career getting paid for sittind in the pits in Poland getting paid more then he could earn here.I remember him winning last heat decider at Workington passing both the Workington riders with a superb move. Mr Blobby
Well on the plus side don’t think we can be that bad again. Worst performance of the season probably struggle to top it, couldn’t make a start to save our lives. Oh well let’s move on to Friday and Saturday.
