If successful would they start NDL or go higher? Surely a club of stature like Cradley would have to aim higher? ( Thanks for the update on 360, a great watch). I am 99.9% sure that the NDL is not on the horizon. 18 hours ago, TB1 said: Thanks for the update. I've been keeping tabs on their Facebook page. In my opinion speedway could be boosted by having big names like Cradley and Coventry back at the top table. I don't think there is any great appetite to be at the top table, and whilst Monday & Thursday remain as PL race nights I can't see Cradley starting off in the Premier League, which leaves just the remaining League, I know they prefer to run on there historical racenight and it's probably easier to get PP to race on that day due to prevailing traffic conditions on weekends as opposed to weekdays. Not the best but the most popular Paco, Bomber, Nicholls, Doyley and Emil

Still needs a strong planning justification for the site. Will it interfere with the openness of the greenbelt? What buildings/structures are being planned? Non except the track, maybe changing rooms as a permanent building, the rest will be containers for storing equipment, it will look similar to Workington which to anyone who has been there looks like a country park with a track in the middle, you won’t see it off the road and wouldn’t know it was there, no it’s not straightforward and the council certainly aren’t making it straightforward Edited 5 hours ago by THE DEAN MACHINE
THE DEAN MACHINE
If people think a speedway track is something they don’t want there is a new menace coming down the road for green belt land and that is solar battery facilities and there is one being proposed about 5 miles from the proposed cradley track although it does fall under another council and they are going to spring up all over the place over the next 5 years ruining the green landscape
