I think he just performs better when he is in the same team as his bro. That shouldn’t be the case, but you may be right!

Looks lie the doubling up restrictions have been lifted so id say yes.....ballpark figure of 9.18 would be hard to wiggle into a side though

Wrong call imo, Joe started the season well, Gilkes hasn’t really impressed much when he’s not watching from the sidelines and I’m sure it’ll be a matter of time before he’s back on them.

But will Poole definitely be putting him back into their side, or will they decide to keep with Kyle Newman? If he isnt riding in the CL, that's going to be detrimental to him and to Leicester. Or does he have a Polish team place?

All the more reason to stick with Joe if Dan doesn't have a current Champ team spot. If you look at Champ aves alone it's bizarre no-one wanted Joe as their RS. But obviously he hasn't produced that in the Prem. But this year, he's finally stepped up in the Prem & still no-one wants him? Very odd. I guess other teams "rising stars" know there's competition for places if they are struggling.
SJA
18 hours ago, Whitelinehugger said: So Joe shows some kind of form and then go to hell he’s kicked out. Can’t do the lads confidence a lot of good. Damn if he does damn if he don’t come to mind. He can’t win poor sod. I feel very sorry for Joe. Although I have been critical of his selection in the past this year he has done a very good job. However, he has not "go to hell he’s kicked out" as his fixed term contract has come to an end. That is different from being kicked out. He has agreed to provide a service for 28 days. He did provide a service for 28 days. The club used his services for 28 days. The contract was fore filled by both parties.

InTheDeepStuff
With Dan confirming he broke his collarbone last night, do we think Stewart will go down the R/R route rather than guests? Think latest averages (issue 5 26th Apr) would mean Nick Morris, Kyle Howarth and reserves cover the rides
Jez
Unfortunate for Leicester as Dan has been riding well so far in 2026. If they do t have many meetings in the next 4 weeks then imagine R/R and home and for away meetings see who is available guest wise if management think R/R not the right choice away from home
Lionsman66
Thats going to be a massive loss with Dan Thompson sidelined with a collarbone break. His present form is great so he'll be badly missed home and away Edited May 5 by Lionsman66 Missed words
gjcone44
seems to always happen when a rider gets more confident, and winning more races. hope he can keep improving when he comes back..

If Dan is going to be out for any more than a month, I wonder if Dickson has thought about bringing in Sedgmen as a short term replacement? I think has away scores might be a concern though.
