Telford classic off road show

Recommended Posts

Next weekend the 7-8th Feb is the classic off road show at the Telford international center, it’s a huge show with 1000s of bikers and family’s attending over the 2 days, the usual speedway suspects have stalls there, me, Jan staechmann,,Aiden and Les Collins (ride &Skid) Cov comp,Hagon shocks,Sid’s wheels, I think Buxton, belle vue supporters club and Workington are all represented there and you always get a good sprinkle of former riders, but where are the bspl or speedway futures again ???? It costs peanuts for a stand and as I’m sure the usual folk will say why bother? Well it’s not preaching to the converted for a start,,we need to set up a team that does all the shows no matter how big or small,,we have to get out there and go to the people, anyway hope to see you there

Had a stall at this event, every year since Alan Wright started it at various venues, Ryton, Malvern, Telford etc., gave it a miss last year for the first time ever, and never really missed it, so once again this year will give it a swerve.

If Alan Wright had not fallen out with Malvern Showground it would probably still be there ? Telford is a nightmare venue for the public, parking etc.and there is nowhere for the show to expand, Mortons/Kelsey must have called me about 5 times ,including last week, asking if I wanted a stall, so sounds like there are still spaces available ?

I will be keeping my powder dry for Bristol Classic show

how much would it be for a stall, ive got loads of old speedway programs and speedway stars to sell.? even my old Boston body colours., no 6 and 7.

I pay £120 but that’s for 3.5 meters by 3 meters but you can get cheaper for smaller, to be honest mate what you’re selling you’re better off at either the paradise park one in march or the speedway show at at Warwick, both are cheaper and more tailored towards the memorabilia crowd, Telford is tailored towards the bike side of it
