Challenge is in Pardubice on Saturday 18th April - which is actually a fancy name for the 2 semi’s at the track in 1 day. Meetings are over 22 heats and teams have 4 riders plus an U 21 rider who ride in heats 9 and 18. Last four heats are nominated( heat 19 lowest scorers, heat 20 3rd highest etc etc if a team is 6 points behind the leading team in heats 5 to 22 ( not heats 9 and 18) they can use a tac sub just once. The final is on Saturday 9th May at a venue TBC. 2 winning teams in the Semi’s and highest 2nd qualify for the final. racers and royals Posted February 20 Author Report Share Posted February 20 Challenge or semi’s as i will call them are with these teams Group A Slovenia, Denmark, Ukraine and Norway Group B Czech Rep, France, Latvia and Sweden. No GB entry for the 2nd year running. just one meeting with the groups rides alternating between Group A and B. Meeting starts at 3pm local 2pm UK time. Ukraine had Parnitskyi at reserve( U 21) and missed getting to the final as best placed 2nd by 1 point.
