The NSSC is delighted to invite you to our next meeting on Tuesday 3rd March, featuring a special guest speaker, Peter Facenna, Club Director of the Glasgow Tigers.

🕗 Time: Meeting starts at 8:00pm

An Evening Focused on the Future of British Speedway

Peter plays a central role in one of the most exciting youth development programmes in British speedway. Under his leadership, Glasgow have announced an extensive partnership supporting young British riders through their association with Young Lions Speedway.

Highlights of this initiative include:

  • Glasgow becoming a major hub for youth development, with Ashfield Stadium hosting all Young Lions training schools

  • Two rounds of the British Youth Championshipbeing staged in Glasgow in 2026

  • An expanded role in developing young riders into professionals competing in the Cab Direct Championship

He will also speak about Allied Mobility’s long-standing commitment to the sport, including sponsorship of the Great Britain Speedway Team since 2018—a period that has delivered unprecedented international success.

“We are obviously passionate about British success in the sport,”

Peter went on to say:

“It is a natural progression to extend our involvement into the grass roots of the British Youth system.”

Entrance Fees

  • Members: £2.00

  • Non-members: £4.00

All proceeds from the evening will go directly towards supporting young British Under-21 riders through our association with Young Lions Speedway.

This promises to be an informative and inspiring evening for anyone interested in the future of British speedway. We hope to see you there.
