Fortythirtyeight
Can’t believe no one has made a thread on the match so here’s my tilt… On a very cold night the two clubs popularly tipped to finish bottom of the league fought it out but it wasn’t much of a fight , more like Bears v Pickering ! On this performance Bears will be ok with Klindt making an instant impact and the rest of the Bears getting solid score throughout and it could have been more without a mechanical issue for Jenkins. Scunthorpe , Pickering apart , were woeful, hard to believe two of them practised at Redcar the previous week. Expected more from MPT , Lambert and Mountain very disappointing but Pickering was exceptional after his first ride. Scorpions might do well at home but away ? Bears we’re rock solid but was very impressed how the two reserves rode, Pijper and Scott, both battling with riders far more experienced than they. Good that Wright was also in attendance. Pity about the electrical fault, not sure the meeting should have continued without the red lights working but they got away with no incidents although the delay did lose a few fans on a freezing evening . Despite the one sided score there was some good racing on a decent track with dirt on the outside and slick on the inside but glad we don’t have flag starts every week. Spiderman1 Posted yesterday at 06:19 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:19 AM Pitty Charles was injured but the guest was top notch, redcar will be hard to beat around their home track, can only see them getting better
NC86
Redcar didn’t have a guest, they have signed Nicolai Klindt as a replacement until Charles Wright is fully fit and can retake his place in the bears line up.
