racers and royals
R and R Bookmakers the worlds top Speedway Bookmakers !!! are pleased to announce the 2026 Beat the Bookie competition. This is the 14th year of the competition(where has the time gone !!) and again there is a prize for the winner. points for every GP 1st 20 2nd 18 3rd 16 4th 14 5th 12 6th 11 7th 10 8th 9 9th 8 10th 7 11th 6 12th 5 13th 4 14th 3 15th 2 16th 1 Positions 1st to 4th in the Final Meeting Classification will be according to the result of the Final (Heat 23). Positions 5th to 10th in the Final Meeting Classification will be according to the results from the Semi Finals (Heat 21 & 22). The 2 Riders who finish 2nd in each of the Semi Finals will be 5th and 6th in the Final Meeting Classification, with the higher ranked rider from Intermediate Classification 5th and the lower ranked rider 6th The 2 riders who finish .3rd in each of the semi finals will be 7th and 8th in the final meeting classification, with the highest rider from the intermediate classification 7th and the lower ranked rider 8th. The 2 riders who finish 4th in each of the semi finals will be 9th and 10th in the final meeting classification, with the highest rider from the intermediate classification 9th and the lower ranked rider 10th. Positions 11th to 18th will be according to the Intermediate Classification after 20 heats. The start amount is £600 - minimum bet per GP is £100 minimum bet per rider £50 The minimum bet doesn`t apply if total remaining is less than £100 - then all must be bet. THERE IS NO MAXIMUM BET IN 2026 Rules Each contestant MUST place bets in ALL the rounds -in the event of having no money left they are out of the competition All bets can be edited up to the advertised starting time of the meeting. If a rider is injured before a round starts then the bet is voided on that rider, or bets can be amended up to the meeting start time. If a rider starts a meeting but is injured and cannot continue THE BET STANDS but any points scored by the reserves count towards the injured riders score. If any rider is excluded for a starting offence the reserve points scored do not get added. To ensure fair play bets for the final round may be required to be PM`d to me instead of normal posting. If a meeting is called off at heat 16 then the spread will be adjusted to 4/5th`s of the original. If a meeting is called off at or after 20 heats the spreads stand. HOW TO PLAY One must bet on a rider to score MORE OR LESS than the spread-the HIGHER figure is taken for MORE bets and the LOWER for LESS bets-the mid between the two is what I expect them to score-and they add up to 146 which is the total points available in a GP Example Zmarzlik might have a spread of 15-17 for the 1st GP Player A might bet £100 HIGHER than 17) and he wins so would win (20-17)=3 X £100 = £300. If he finishes 4th he would lose (17-14)=3 X £100 = £300 Player B might bet £100 Lower than 15 and if he finished 8th(15-9 ) = 6X £100 would win £600. If he won the meeting he would lose(20-15) =5 X£100 = £500 A final message regarding the 2026 competition to you punters. M more value in 2026 U unique format from the no 1 Bookie G great prices S simply the best competition in world speedway Edited Tuesday at 07:17 AM by racers and royals

salty Posted yesterday at 07:11 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:11 AM Holder £50 less Madsen £50 more Thank you ps - maybe I’m losing it but is there not a few mistakes in the scoring in the OP? You’ve got riders finishing 2nd in the Semi’s finishing 5th and 6th which is then extrapolated into all the other finishing positions meaning you eventually get 18 finishers? Hi Salty, think you are losing it lol 10 qualify after 20 heats to go forward. top 2 straight to final semi 1 / 3,6,8,9 semi 2 / 4,5,7,10 winners only to final.( 20,18,16,14) therefore the 2nds are 5th and 6th ( 12,11) 3rds are 7th and 8th (10,9) 4th are 9th and 10th (8,7) 11th 6 12th 5 13th 4 14th 3 15th 2 16th 1 Edited yesterday at 07:37 AM by racers and royals

Should have known the bookie is always right. However, surely my point about 18th position - see above - is correct?

No because someone who starts the meeting ( 1-16 ) is not guaranteed to score any GP points as the 2 reserves if they get rides their points will be counted after 20 heats in the classification. I’m not sure i fully agree with that as within the last 2 seasons Michelsen i think it was was excluded in his 1st ride, couldn’t race again and was outscored by the reserve who also never scored a point but finished races !! ( 4th beats exclusion) and poor old Michelsen finished 17th with no points. Edited yesterday at 08:04 AM by racers and royals
racers and royals Posted yesterday at 08:43 AM Author Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:43 AM As always i find it interesting looking at Bet 365’s under/ exact / over market. this is actual points over 20 heats only. I am quoting the exact score they think( equivalent to my mid-spread) Zmarzlik 12 Kurtz 11 Lambert 10 Jack Holder 10 MJJ 10 Bewley 9 Lindgren 8 Lebedevs 8 Doyle 7 Woryna 6 Madsen 6 Fricke 6 Dudek 6 Kubera 5 Parnitskyi 3 Blodorn 3 those scores add up to 120 which is total points in the 20 heats.
