I've never understood the argument that fans will find something else to do when there's big gaps between meetings & not return? By that logic fans wouldn't come back after the winter break, having found something else to do!

When the season is running, people want momentum and routine. If you have big, erratic gaps between meetings, some fans lose the habit, find other things to fill their evenings, and just drift away. The winter break is different because everyone knows exactly when it starts, when it ends, and the anticipation builds up for opening night of the season the closer you get.

Name a club where the attendance is rising year on year over the last decade? Or even maintained the numbers year on year?

Belle Vue, the best track in the UK, the most modern facilities, in a major, modern city, they struggle for 2000.

Over the past 10-20-30 years the bodies across the board, are finding something else once winter arrives or they're just brown bread.

Especially when you move from junior/teen to full paying adult, many don't bother returning.

Would you say he's living off his father's name? Not sure what his background is? Has he been on the spanners in the past? Proves once you're in, you're in. Somehow he picked up the managers job at Birmingham, led them to consecutive disastrous bottom place finishes and now looks to be doing the same with Northamptoningham now he's a "team manager" 🤔

Well he was recruited by Birmingham who have an outstanding record in poor signings. Spent lots of time in the pits on the spanner’s so I guess it stands to reason he is the ideal candidate.
on par with Peter Schroek imo

Excepting Luke Harrison, because he's young and it was his birthday, you can't carry two riders and expect to win away. It's either Lidsey or Klindt that's off the boil, but always Batchelor. I'd much rather see a young rider fail to deliver. Or an experienced SGP rider from Australia but, you know, there's a hierarchy at play.

You do know that an experienced SGP rider from Australia couldn't be used to replace Batchelor ...

Can they realistically bring Zagar back but retain Jeppesen?

Because they are well under the points limit, it looks like they could replace Batchelor with Zagar, if fit, at least up to 30 June - then new averages would come in to play.

Once the Foxes have completed 75% of their league matches, a returning Zagar could only replace Jeppesen.
