Col Posted yesterday at 10:26 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:26 PM Thomsen & Bednar (R) confirmed they were staying with Gorzow. Bydgoszcz likely to sign Douglas, Fricke, Wozniak, Przyjemski (U24), Pawełczak (R) and trying to sign Bastian Pedersen (R). Lindgren to Grudziądz. That is all I have read so far but I've not been scouring sportowefakty I'm sure there is more on there if someone cares to look.
Col
Leszno - Parnitskyi (J), Cook, Rew, Pi Pawlicki. Grudziądz - Bailey (J), Lindgren, Tarasenko, Jepsen Jensen, Małkiewicz (J) Zielona Góra - Madsen, Ratajczak (U24), Lebedevs, Kubera. Wrocław - Janowski, Laguta, Kurtz, Gusts (U24), Mikkel Andersen, Sitek. Toruń - Lambert, Dudek, Sayfutdinov, Michelsen, Kawczyński (J). Gorzów - Thomsen, Pr Pawlicki, Przedpełski, Nagel (U24), Bednar (J), Paluch (J). Lublin - Cierniak (U24), Bańbor (J), Jaworski (J), Zmarzlik. Bydgoszcz - Woźniak, Buczkowski, Fricke, Douglas, Przyjemski (U24), Pawełczak (J). Bad news for Gorzów it seems Pollestad is off to Torun to replace Blodorn who is likely join Lublin. If Kołodziej retires Leszno are hoping to sign Kowalski. Zengota likely to sign for Zielona Góra. No rumors that Bewley, J Holder, Woryna, Vaculik, Drabik are likely to change clubs. Bydgoszcz likely to retain Andrzejewski but targeting Bastian Pedersen, so expect #8 stupidity for Przyjemski or Pawełczak. Miśkowiak to Leszno Assuming no injuries Toruń will surely retain title, relegation could be interesting; would expect Bydgoszcz U24, #8 sillyness & Juniors will be effective can't see Buczkowski getting many rides. Leszno look in trouble. Edited 20 hours ago by Col

Leszno look in trouble. I’ve already mapped out roughly the teams from the 2026 thread. Your Gorzow statement is untrue for two clear reasons. Pollestad and Bednar said their goodbyes last night, so how is Bednar going to stay when he already signed a contract with Lublin? And even worse than that you put him in as a junior! Do you not even know next season is a rule change whereas both U24 positions must be filled with polish riders only! Two senior polish riders must also be included and Łaguta and Emil will be classed as this due to Passports, leaving only 3 foreign riders to fill the remaining positions. Holder has already signed for Gorzow. Nagel is back from his loan spell at łodz and he cannot ride as a junior for the reason I already mentioned. Pollestad and Bednar has to make way for him as they have been given bigger money elsewhere and Gorzow, who still are in some money situations had to bring in Nagel for a smaller sum. Pawał and Pawlicki are the two Polish seniors with Kordun and Paluch as the juniors for the moment. Anders and Holder make up the final two positions. Fromafar
Does look like Torun will be too strong for the rest again. IMO.

LagutaRacingFan
Are Wroclaw really going to run it back with Janowski? He is a waste of time. They need to find a younger rider. Edited 1 hour ago by LagutaRacingFan
LagutaRacingFan
@racers and royals - Do you think the quality of the Polish Ekstraliga has declined since 2011? Top 10 riders by average 2011: Hampel, Hancock, Gollob, Jonsson, Pepe, Crump, Sullivan, Laguta (Grigory), Sayfutdinov and Nicki Pedersen 2026: Zmarzlik, Holder (Jack), Thomsen, Laguta (Artem), Sayfutdinov, Lambert, Jepsen Jensen, Kurtz, Bewley, Dudek I miss the good old days. Or am I just getting old and is this nostalgia? Edited 1 hour ago by LagutaRacingFan

I would say so. But if you go back 10 years before and so on.

There's a lack of quality riders in the league. When I first got into speedway as a 15-year old in 2010s, I remember Gorzow had a top 5 of Gollob, MJJ, Zagar, Kasprazak, Iversen and Zmarzlik at reserve!
