British Youth Championship 2027- Time for change

Recommended Posts

Should the Championships fall in line with other European Nations and ride 125cc, 190cc, 250cc/500r and 500cc classes?

The 125cc/150cc classes are presently mixed and flawed beyond redemption.

Many of the 150cc bikes have their seals broken and would be found oversize if used abroad.

The SGP4 is specifically for 190cc bikes and are not presently used in any UK competitive racing, so how can any British riders compete without the experience of riding them?

So the joke continues with the 125/150 class.

I remember our former promoter , K. Kay , running our junior teams but he lost heart when Neil Vatcher started to interfere. The juniors , the Cubs , have struggled to put a side out all this season and I’m told Seb Kelly is the only one still using a 125.
Seems speedway at every level is on a steep decline.
