  1. Well done To The Hitmen. Buxton is a great little club & epitomises everything that The NL is & always should be. I'll always enjoy my visits there, even though it is damn cold sometimes.
  2. Hans deserves the respect that is given him here for even thinking about getting on a bike with his injury not gripes. The rider himself will come back stronger in 2011, whoever he rides for.
  3. Loving it. What an excellent GP that was. & what an even better result.
  4. Not sure why people are doubting that Bomber will stay in now. Look at the facts, it needs Noddy to score 5 more, Hans 16 more & Nicki 17 more, not going to happen is it so Chris will not need to be a nominee, ladyluck, even if he does have a poor Bydgoszcz. Are we totally sure that Emil will get a nomination now that another Russian has qualified by right, i'm sure he probably would but it has to be asked. I wouldn't give Darcy anything GP wise yet, for a start he needs to grow up. There will be 2 British riders in the series so Tai is a definite, whoever finishes 9th & 10th should be as well, so that's any combination of Nicki/Hans/AJ. Kolodziej should be the other, but somehow i doubt he'll get it.
  5. It may just be something to do with that dodgy knee he had, maybe that's not giving him problems so much now. Some people just don't realise these boys are only human. Look at Crumpy, gone the whole season with that arm injury & still he is where he is. Once again, i defy anyone that says Chris isn't worthy of his place. 94 with 1 to go & still there are some that question it.
  6. well he is 15 ahead of 9th, surely that's enough. hope he goes on to reach the 3 figure mark now.
  7. Well done to Tomasz on a thoroughly deserved World Title. .....and what a fantastic performance form Chris Harris, jesus he nearly got there too, i defy anyone that says he don't deserve to be in the GP's after that. 3 rostrums this year, that's his best ever. May i add that Mr Grodzky had a stinker once again.
  8. but it's only a camera. But the way tatum goes on i think he's in love. This is an idea that sounds very good. In fact it's too good for the clowns that run speedway.
  9. Not a good forecast, rain this morning, storms afternoon & evening. Could be another Gorican.
  10. I've already said there was no provocation, the lad is just a yob who didn't like the fact all 4 riders we're applauded at the end of the final race. I detest the fact that 1 person could spoil all the hard work everyone @ Dudley is doing to secure a future. Can i just say now that i wish this subject to be closed on here so those that are investigating can do so without prejudice. I'm not exactly enjoying being reminded myself either.
  11. Let me just say that what i'm saying isn't an allegation it's a statement of fact & the club & i have every intention of seeking out the culprit. My sincere thanks to Nigel Pearson & my sincere thanks to those people that pulled this yob off me.
  12. Right i'm gonna ask the question straight out. If anyone here knows or seen the lout that grabbed me by the throat, threw me to the floor & pinned me down whilst hurling abuse please PM me or contact Nigel Pearson at Dudley with any information. The actions of this individual we're entirely unprovoked. This individual needs to be cast out of the sport which we love, there is no place in speedway for thugs like him Thank you. CC
  13. Just a few things of note Firstly. Well done Denmark, thoroughly worthy victory. I've never seen Michael Jepsen Jensen race before but have seen his scores on the continent, get him signed somebody cos that boy is dynamite. Secondly, the Polish Ref. Why is Wojacek still on the F.I.M list after his appalling display at Cardiff the other year. In this meeting he was even worse, holding the tapes way, way too long, causing exclusions & causing delays & on top of that 1st bend incidents that should've been all 4 back. and finally.... the ever consistent bugbear of Rye House Speedway, dust. What was it that caused all the incidents, a slick track with lots of DUST what was it that caused the bowser to come out after nearly every race, a slick track with lots of DUST so why did this meeting, that should've taken 2 & a half hours to run max take over a bloody hour longer, yes you guessed it Mr Silver's hallowed bloody DUST. Thankfully the company of some very good freinds & a certain Mr Peasley stopped me nodding off.
  14. Just one point i'd like to make. Holta was rightly annoyed about Gollob getting that point in the semi, he should've gone for that just as he did in Mallila 2 weeks ago. 15 years ago Gollob got a smack in the gob for a similar move. .......and what was Grodzky playing at excluding AJ, race had continued & AJ only penalised himself through no fault of his own or Crumpie's. Buffoon
  15. Oh Yes Herbie & Bomber now in the top 8. Listen to all the knockers, innit quiet. Keep it going boys & nail those positions.
  16. or monday or wednesday for that matter. The precedence has now been set on how the B.S.P.A will react if riders are missing.
  17. Another problem is track time as i said, that is down to respective clubs. As far as i know there's only scunthorpe & king's lynn that give that regular in the UK.
  18. Let's all ask ourselves why we are behind as far as The Poles, Danes & Swedes are concerned. Practice is the answer, whenever they are not racing they can all practice in their home country. We moan about it over here don't we, that riders are missing because of it, but the end product is what we see at a world stage. All our British lads should get the same privileges here, then maybe we'll make progress, we need the young lads doing that otherwise we will go backwards & never be on a par with these nations. The 5 that represented us last week all deserve some credit, they got us to the final when everyone was saying the Aussies would win & they weren't that far away from gaining something, but Tai apart all those riders aren't the future they're only the present, those that are the future need to practice constantly to improve,it works for Poland,Sweden & Denmark & all these Aussie kids that come over here, that's the reason why they're as good as they are, even though we know nothing about them 'til they're here. TIme for British Speedway Promoters to sort it out for Lads like Tai, Barker, Auty, Craig Cook, Kyle Hughes to name a few.
  19. Let's look at this in real terms. GB scored 33 real points. Sweden also scored 33 real points. There, does that sound better.
  20. I thought that was a good race meeting & the weather made the track slightly better than the usual slick as a baby's botty stuff you get from Vojens. Well done to the Poles, in fact well done to all 4 nations. Getting this on must have been tough so everyone deserves credit for that, even Ole Olsen. As for The Brits, well it's progress from where we have been the last 5 years so we can take credit for that, everyone mucked in on & off the track & that's what you need, we we're 1 joker ride away from a medal, that's how far we've come. Next year, 1 step further. For the Rob Lyon knockers, he's got us alot further than others have with these riders so don't knock him. He's getting us there & he's making our riders believe in themselves.
  21. No one can deny that this was the better of the 3 meetings so far. King's Lynn have done Britain proud, the fans that flocked to the stadium have done Britain proud & most of all there are 5 guys in red, white & blue that have done Britain proud. We're in the final, savour it & let's hope those 5 boys can make us proud once again. Come on Boys
  22. We always knew Vojens would be slick, not ideal but why moan about it everyone just has to deal with what's in front of them. Glad the Aussies have gone if only for the sake of Darcy's silly little boy's comments, for what it's worth, Rooboy has been a real trooper tonight.
