The FIM adjudication statement is about the offence committed by Ward in an individual meeting. As it seems only right to deal in facts rather than interpretation, nowhere in the adjudication does it mention or name any of the clubs or leagues that Ward rides in/for - it is about Ward and Ward alone, his scores and his average! Ward questioned the penalty re his average for 2015 as he knew that it would/could affect his contract to be included for a teamplace in both Poland and Sweden (as was reported in both those countries). Piraterna went ahead and included him in their squad and have now been 'caught out' by their own squad rules because Ward's adjusted average stops him from being included. Torun didn't offer him a contract and included the likes of Doyle instead as one of their 3 foreign riders - although they could still make changes and include him when his ban ends (unless he signs for Gorzow) - and a similar situation applies to Poole, who would have to make changes to the team or loan him out.
-
He doesn't have to be averaging 9. Old news! It was stated at the time that Ward had requested the decisions before they were made public. Just for clarification, the punishment is for Ward, NOT any of his clubs - other than the effect it may have on his personal racing average.

Bjarne didn't just 'up and leave' - some of us knew some 3 weeks previously that he would leave, primarily due to some personal issues!

To be fair, Floppy was a better commentator too!!

Teamgb V. Great Britain?
Skidder1 replied to The White Knight's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It won't really matter cos Team Denmark or Team Poland will win it!! -
We'll just have to see what average he returns on as to whether any action has been taken?
-
It was a triple, apparently!!

Yes until Saturday! -
There was talk from the BSPA AGM that 2016 teams would have to track at least one Brit as a second string. Riders such as Newman and Garrity wanted that to happen this season, but the Authorities thought it too soon.
-
Sorry, have I missed the statement of criticism from BSPA MC member Chris Van Stratten??! No, I didn't think so.

BV v Poole now 'provisionally' rearranged for Monday 29th June.. Now why is that date significant? Theres a little bell ringing in my brain!! No its no good I just can't think..... -
No. If a team redeclares ie changes more than one rider, then the new 1-5 must still be within 34 points and can still only have 2 riders more than 7 points. If only one change is being made then the new rider cannot have an average higher than the rider he replaces, but there could still be 2-3 other riders above 7 points.

Bearing in mind Van Stratten is on the BSPA MC and he was also looking to book Bomber, why didn't he overrule Poole if its bending/breaking a rule?! -
Ah Steve0, I was just having a bit of fun - something this forum is sadly lacking in lately!! I was hoping for a few 'wooooshes'............. If you've followed my posts that closely, you'll know I'm a big fan of Adrian - even from well before I told you he was available and was going to sign for you!!.

Exactly - hardly cheating the public is it?! -
Academic now - its off. Incidentally I guess Miedzinski will be rushing back for Thursday's Swindon meeting??
-
Surely if he's fit to ride in Poland after injury then he should be straight back for the Robins!!? Just saying!! I mean to keep PK longer than 28 days would just be cheating wouldn't it?!
-
There you go again BW - assuming!! How do you know what sort of contract Janowski has signed for Poole? Apart from getting injured at Coventry, he's only ridden home meetings and away EL meetings at big tracks ie. KL and Swindon!

Not long to wait til 2016 when Polish riders will be limited to only riding in 2 leagues - Poland and 1 other. -
I don't buy this 'cheating the public' accusation!! Poole are using an exciting British GP rider at a track he has ridden well at previously, instead of a rider who has aggravated a serious knee injury and who has not scored particularly well at the same track in the past. How are the public being cheated exactly?? This is all about preparing those Poole fans who prefer Magic rather than Ward - to more readily accept the change(s) that may be coming!!

Reading Magic's comments - its what you get for not having a smooth big wide open track!! But I really don't know what you are worried about - BV should win this at a canter. You got a very creditable draw at Poole. Gomolski won't score a point if his scores in Poland today and his previous visit to BV are anything to go by. Watt and Holder - who knows? and your reserves are better than Poole's. 52-42. -
Flagrag did say there would be a bit of a delay!!
