King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
Bald Bloke replied to SpeedwayFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'd take him in a heart beat. At the least, Lynn need to win all their home meetings, to have a chance of the play offs. But i can't see us doing that without a proper No.1. If we don't hit the ground running, i can see the crowds dwindling even more. We saw it last season. Unless the Stars can attract some good sponsorship, who is going to pay decent wages to attract the decent riders. The crowds ain't big enough on there own unfortunately. -
Think the lights are still up? It's a sad sight though.

Lynn finished on 34.60 P/B 40.79. Second to BV. Who would blame him looking at some PB's team. I'm sure many have. -

Agree on the first line. The word is there is no Lawson at the AFA. Tarasenko averaged over 8 at the Showground. He could do the same for us once dialled in imho. Would be a good back up to a number 1 at home, if we get one. -

Id settle for those 3 if it happens. No.1 8.00 Basso 6.25 Harris 6.37 (6.53) Vadim 6.64 Would leave 11.44 for the last 2 in the 1-6 , if the 39 point limit is kept, and RS also kept. 6 teams with a 40 point limit would leave 12.44, which would make the final 2 easier, and a strong No.6 imho. -
If that was the case, then i can't see how he can sell... no doubt we will know in due course. As there's 2 or 3 who are in the consortium on here. Obviously not the right time now, but it will surely come out in the end. Myself, i don't think he has.

£5.50 at Lynn for Fosters. -
Does there still need to be a track Doctor? I know there used to be years ago. If so, 2 random riders from each team at every meeting would be a bigger deterrent. The initial pee test can't be very expensive. Use the riders that fail (£1500 fine) to pay for the expensive lab test. Could that work?

Any ban they receive, is back dated to the day of the offence. So it depends on when they were caught. A 10 month ban, would still only work in part, if your caught in March. Needs changing .

Ward got 10 months. Was suspended from riding after the fail, at the end of August. Back riding at the end of June.

Should there be Random Drugs Testing At All Speedway Meetings

You could argue, it's just a slap on the wrist, if he's back early June.
-
If that's the case, it will come out in the end, no doubt.

It can't be worth much more than one of MT's cars? It must be a lot more complicated than it seems looking from the outside in?

Wolves last meeting at Monmore 23rd October

Seems that way. So much for the shale on the dog track. -
For free . I'd imagine that a "new" Coventry would attract decent crowds with a good team. Probably just the cynic in me. But he has helped keep the Prem going, at the determent of his King's Lynn at times. I know he's far from perfect though

Could there be something in it for him, down the line? I thought he said he could run it? I might be way off, but thought i'd read it somewhere.

Matt Ford will do what's best for Matt Ford, imho.
