  1. Some of us are giving the our 2 local lads a chance to get going. I do agree about Paco. While i agree that Scoot and Coops is risky at reserve. But not anymore than Paco in the 1-5. At least Lynn are trying the you young guns
  2. Agree. Hard to predict. Ippo has got riders that go well at the AFA. Even if Lynn can get 40 from our top four, it will be to a big ask to hit 51. My prediction is 2 points either way on the night.
  3. Cook doesn't seem to go that well at the Foxhole, don't know about Paco, and Scott and Coops will need time to settle, and rightly so. Always hard to predict early season results, but if i had to, id go around the 56-34 mark.
  4. Not officially as far as i know. Lidsey, NKI, Klindt, and Kerr was four that i was told a few weeks ago. But with NKI's crash, that might of changed.
  5. Pipe down Taps. Stop deflecting from the shambles that was Ippo
  6. Lidsey, Klindt, NKI, and Lewi Kerr i was told.

  8. He was at one stage. That's the team i was referring to 👍
  9. I don't know tbh. I thought i read that Ford would consider being a promoter if they came back, but that was a while ago now.
  10. I can't see him putting up the money on a dangerous gamble like Northampton . He was involved with the Coventry return a while ago i believe. I don't think Coventry would be so much of a gamble, but who knows.. Time will tell. Could it be what's his name, the bloke who said that was going buy Peterborough, Tomalin ?
  11. I can't see that working tbh. Im not sure PB would get enough fans to make it pay. Plus if PB was to be the better team, Buster would only have to loose 100 fans, who would rather watch the Panthers, to loose any money he would make by charging rent. To risky imho.

  15. Lynn had the world number 1 and 2 in 1980.
  16. Agree keeping grounded is important at such a young age. It's equally important us fans need to be patient with these lads, and not put pressure on them from the off. Hopefully they will be with us in years to come.
  17. I cant remember any assessed averages back then. in 1975 he rode at 7, 6, and finished the season riding at 5.
  18. I think he was 14 the first time i saw him ride. I used to time him, just by my watch, and as you say he was fast. Even when he used to come out after the meeting, when the track was dry and slick, he was only a second or 2 slower that the main meeting at 14 if my memory serves me right.
  19. I believe he was 16 when he made his debut in 1975. For Boston and Lynn He averaged 7.43 that season for Lynn in the top league. At 17 he averaged 9.43, at 18 it was 10.59. 19 was 10.23, 20 was 10.21, 21 was 10.14. All this was for Lynn in the top league. He was something special for sure.
